Chapter 3 - Chapter 2:Elara in a trauma

Rays peeped through the windows.

Elara wasn't ready to open her eyes. She was busy with the angel who always come in her dreams with fascinating stories. In her unconscious mind Elara nodded to angel's words as like a motherly conversation.Have you heard about Buddha? In this hectic world, his intent ideologies have proved the biggest medication for a few agitated minds and souls. Buddha means an enlightened one, a knower. According to Buddhists, it is believed that a Buddha is born in each aeon of time.

Don't misunderstand me thinking that I am going to preach about Buddha. There is a famous saying of Buddha that conquered my mind in-depth all the time.

ie, "Every morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most".As far as it is highly thought-provoking.

Elara woke up from bed, prayed for this new start and went to the kitchen for a final confirmation.

She asked, "Mamma, are we shifting to a new home today itself?"

"Yes".Mira just nodded her head.

Elara put up a dogmatic attitude to this shocking realization that they are shifting to a new place.

"It's for about 13 years that we have been staying here. From the day I opened my eyes, I've experienced the fragrance of people and ambience here. It's out of the blue and I'm not ready to come with you people".

By telling all these, Elara walked out of the kitchen.

But nothing seems to work out. At that moment, Eliot passed through the kitchen door unintentionally. Eliot was a man who was highly generous, well determined and stubborn in nature. But he cared for his girl more than anyone else as Elara was always dad's angel.

"Shake a leg, my kid, well we are out for a new journey of life". Eliot hugged Elara.

It was very tough for her. But still, it should happen. Everything changes within an eye blink.

Reality is a jerk. She listened to her father's words with an incredulous smile.

Elara went through her room. Slowly just passed her fingers through the paintings she drew on the walls as it was going to be the last time in her life to touch them. It's time to bid goodbye to everyone and everything here.

Eliot came inside and hurried her to leave the room as it was time to hand over the keys to the new homekeeper. Elara entered the car and just waved her hands to those fragile eyes without uttering a single word.

Yes! It's time for the final move.

For a few minutes, it was like a funeral ground, a Smashan. Elara wiped her tears like a bride getting apart from her own home after marriage. That pain slowly dripped as the engine of the car began to step up and move forward. Elara fell into deep sleep as if in a trance to forget that glimpse.

They finally reached a new home. Elara was not at all feeling amused. Then a grant tea party welcomed all guests for making them a part of this happiness.

Dusk fell down the earth and walking shadows were visible all around.

Lying on the bed Elara thought, "Why am I tensed? Is there anything mysterious about this place? What does the silence signify"?

The night is full of hide and seek. But what about a haunted silence...

Elara came out of her room. A few guests remained back at home. All junks need to be cleared out. The whole house is disordered after the party. Elara was an OCD child. As she came to the guest room, Eliot was sitting along with his friends and a few cousins. Eliot saw her and was just inquisitive.

"What happened, baby? Are you still feeling outraged about the decision we made? Or is there anything else you want to inform me?" Elara nodded her head and a single pause made that moment invincible. For the first time, she didn't splutter but remained a destitute soul with a shattered dream.

That night, she was not able to sleep. She opened the window and took a glance. A smile came on her face.

" Hey! You came with me. I knew that you would never leave me alone."

One charm looms around Elara in the night unduly and she falls asleep at that gaze.

On the very next day, school reopened after the summer vacation. As it was the first day of a new academic year, it was only a midday programme. Elara reached school with great enthusiasm. Now it's a hike time from being a primary school child to a high school one.

As all the children entered the classroom, the teacher came to class. The biggest hurdle to cross over was a new department and pedagogue.

The only glimpse of happiness was the old friends with the same antics and fun. They were delighted to see each other and went for a huddle which made them forget everything else.

As all we say what is more amazing than companionship?!

Elara just pointed out to friends that her family have shifted to a nearby location to school.

As the class got dispersed by noon, everyone eagerly went back home. Similarly, as no one has permission to stay back in school, Elara also hurried up to her dwelling.

She had a greater admiration for looking at the sky and enjoying its charm by sitting on the terrace of her house.

Maybe some auroras lighten up her blue sky craves!

Constellations are miraculous. As we hear from scientists, "They are the group of stars perceived on different outlines in small areas visible on our celestial orb"!

But are we connected to these constellations? Roaming through these thoughts is quite interesting.isn't it? Oblivion is an earthly certainty.

Time for a reality appraisal.

OMG! Don't you remember zodiac signs?

Zodiac signs are derived from constellations.

The difference between the zodiac and constellations is similar to what astrology and astronomy hold.

From the 13 constellations in the path of the ecliptic, astrologers use 12 of these constellations to predict the future of mankind, named as zodiac signs by Babylonians.Poor Ophiuchus! It got ostracised from zodiac signs.

As Elara was reading "The Star Walk" magazine, some footsteps echoed back to her on the terrace.

In a jiffy, she stood up from the chair and turned back. Some unfamiliar faces were standing on the stairs.

All of the four were standing in front of her. Pointing to one girl Elara inquired.

"Sorry! An informal introduction is an obligatory one before a handshake know? So, if you don't mind can anyone please"...

A boy came forward from the group first and replied to Elara on her doubts. He was with the identity Aster. Aster was the eldest among all. He propelled Elara to make friends with them as they noticed her sitting alone on the terrace in the evening when they went out to play. Their visit was a kind of invitation to their happy circle. Elara felt delighted. She was feeling dejected as there were no known friends here in this new alcove. She accepted the invitation and replied with a slick. All of them introduced themselves one by one and they brushed shoulders with one another. Then they heard someone opening the gate from down to the staircase. It was the little hurricane coming in search of her elder sister.

"Evangeline, why do you come up?"Elara asked.

"It's too late. How much time you will sit here reading this scrap? Are you not coming down? You are wanted by Amma".Evangeline screamed in anger.

"Okay, we are coming down".Elara caressed her little cheeks.

Thus everyone happily descended the stairs. All the children were taken to Mira by Elara and she introduced everyone to both Mamma and Evangeline. It made an eve of bash for all children.

In between the chatters, those roaming eyes got struck by something and Elara's burst of exuberance overwhelmed others.

"What happened Elara?"Aster's curiosity has been called into question.

"Look this! A new leaf sprouted in my plant. Now I noticed that".Elara screamed.

"As roots are tangled, everything gets fully fledged when they are in real ecstasy".

Children were puzzled to hear this aphorism from Mira. Even though some fog persisted in her words, all were delighted in this double bash occurrence..
