Chapter 903 - Chapter 903 : Dad, You’re So Silly

The force required to break a marker pen like that was immense, especially considering it's not something that easily snaps.

The loud "crack" had been the sound of the broken piece hitting the floor, adding to the tension in the room.

Fu Yinxiu's face turned an angry shade of iron.

When Ming Yutong looked over, he gave a mocking smile, his silence speaking volumes.

It was clear he was deriding her for interacting with others.

Ming Yutong felt a surge of anger but didn't let it show.

Her feelings were more of disdain than the fierce indignation she might have had before.

She wasn't bound by Fu Yinxiu's approval anymore, and she refused to let his opinions dictate her actions or interactions with others.

She was single and free to associate with whomever she chose.

She wasn't looking to start a new relationship, but that didn't mean she had to hide or apologize for spending time with others.

Ignoring Fu Yinxiu's sour expression, Ming Yutong turned her attention back to the game.

Mo Jingsheng, with a calm demeanor, removed his hand from Ming Yutong's forehead and, undeterred by the tense atmosphere, flashed a smile at Fu Yinxiu.

At Mo Jinxi's prompt, Mo Jingsheng quickly moved to the whiteboard and filled in a number in a grid.

Mo Jingsheng then picked up Mo Jinxi and helped him write in the remaining numbers, while Ming Yutong swiftly added the final digits.

Their team completed the Sudoku puzzle just before Fu Yinxiu's team.

"Yay!" Little Jingshi and Mo Jinxi cheered, celebrating their victory. Ming Yutong gave high-fives to both, her face radiant with joy.

Mo Jingsheng joined in the celebration with a smile.

Ming Yutong looked up, her bright eyes crinkling into a crescent as she congratulated Mo Jingsheng. "You were amazing!"

Little Jingshi echoed the praise, his eyes sparkling with admiration for Mo Jingsheng, completely forgetting about his father.

Fu Yinxiu's gaze was icy as he observed the lively celebration.

To him, it seemed that Mo Jingsheng and Ming Yutong looked like a perfect family, with Fu Yinxiu left out in the cold.

He wondered if Ming Yutong was humiliating herself by getting close to Mo Jingsheng, or if she was desperately trying to win his favor.

The announcement of Mo Jingsheng's team as the winners brought a cheer of excitement from the children, who eagerly accepted their prizes.

The next game was set to begin with the same teams.

The new challenge involved using only their mouths to transfer paper from one box to another, with the team that transferred the most sheets being declared the winner.

Fu Yinxiu's gaze turned sharply towards Ming Yutong and Mo Jingsheng, who were still standing close together.

The proximity between them made him uncomfortable, and he couldn't help but think that the game might turn into something awkwardly intimate.

He approached Mo Jingsheng and asked, "Would you mind switching places with me?"

Before Mo Jingsheng could respond, Mo Jingsheng's nephew, Mo Jinxi, tugged at his uncle's sleeve and said, "I don't want to be separated from Uncle."

Fu Yinxiu was left speechless.

Seeing the situation, Ming Yutong stepped forward, "Since this is a family activity, and I'm not actually part of Little Jingshi's family, I'll step aside. You all don't need to make any changes."

"Tong Tong!" Little Jingshi grabbed Ming Yutong's hand.

With a reassuring smile, Ming Yutong said, "I'll be right here cheering for you! Do your best to win again."

Little Jingshi was satisfied as long as Ming Yutong stayed to support him. He nodded, "Okay, make sure you cheer for me!"

Ming Yutong nodded, moving to a spot where she would be visible to Little Jingshi at all times.

Fu Yinxiu, still brooding, took his place behind Little Jingshi. Little Little Jingshi frowned and said, "Dad, why did you come here? Now Tong Tong can't participate."

Fu Yinxiu was at a loss for words. He'd rather not see Ming Yutong and Mo Jingsheng in close proximity, even if it meant making a foolish decision.

Little Jingshi, with a mischievous grin, whispered, "Dad, are you afraid that Uncle Mo and Ming Yutong might end up playing the paper transfer game as if they're kissing?"

Fu Yinxiu shot him a cold look.

Little Jingshi, with a dismissive air, continued, "Dad, you're so silly. We're here to keep them apart, aren't we? There's me and Jinxi between them."

Fu Yinxiu, realizing his blunder, mentally cursed the game's creator for its ridiculousness.

He couldn't stop glancing at Ming Yutong, who was cheering from the sidelines, giving encouragement to everyone, including Mo Jingsheng. Her enthusiasm for everyone except him stung.

The game ended with Fu Yinxiu's team losing, largely due to his lack of cooperation.

The loss was a bitter pill for him, but it was also a reminder of his frustrations and insecurities about Ming Yutong's interactions with others.
