Chapter 7: The Core Power System
Power in the world of Azuris originates from a single source—the Mana Core.
Every living being is born with a mana core within their body. It is the foundation of one's strength, determining how much mana they can store, refine, and control. The stronger the core, the greater the power one can wield.
As a cultivator grows stronger, their mana core evolves through ten major stages.
1. Initiate
The first step toward becoming a cultivator. At this stage, one awakens their mana core and begins absorbing mana from the world.
2. Adept
The cultivator gains stable control over their mana and can freely utilize basic techniques.
3. Channeler
Mana begins flowing naturally throughout the body, allowing the user to strengthen both their physical abilities and magical techniques.
4. Conduit
The mana core becomes significantly more refined, allowing greater efficiency, stronger spells, and improved endurance.
5. Master
Mana control reaches an advanced level. Techniques become far more destructive and precise, while one's bloodline abilities begin to fully awaken.
6. Grandmaster
A cultivator's understanding of mana deepens dramatically, enabling them to create and perfect their own techniques.
7. Paragon
Few ever reach this stage. Every movement and every spell carries overwhelming power, placing them among the strongest individuals in the continent.
8. Ascendant
The mana core undergoes a qualitative transformation, allowing the cultivator to surpass the limits of ordinary humans.
9. Epicentrum
A legendary realm said to grant the power to influence the world itself. No living person has ever reached this stage.
10. Primordial
The highest realm of cultivation, existing only in myths and ancient legends. Those who attain this level are said to stand above the laws of nature themselves.
Each of these ten realms is further divided into two sub-stages:
Silver — The lower stage of a realm.
Gold — The higher stage of a realm.
Only after reaching the Gold stage can a cultivator attempt to break through to the next realm.
According to the ancient records, no one has reached the Epicentrum realm for over ten thousand years. The last known individual to stand at that level was a mysterious figure whose name and identity have long since been lost to history.
As for the Primordial realm...
Whether it truly exists or is merely a legend remains unknown.
