"Well, since Annie has left, if you want to stay and continue recording the show, then stay. But as soon as you're done recording, make sure you head home right away. Your mom has been talking about you these past few days, even saying she wants to visit you. I had to really persuade her to give up on that idea."
"You should call her and promise to come home for dinner when you get back. It will keep her from worrying."
"Alright, I got it."
"Okay, then I'll hang up now."
After hanging up, Joanna immediately called Madam White.
Madam White picked up instantly and warmly greeted her, "Joanna! I was just thinking about you, and then you called! Our mother-daughter bond must be very strong."
Hearing Madam White's gentle voice warmed Joanna's heart, and she affectionately greeted back, "Mom."
