Yannick Luther hesitated for a few more seconds, then suddenly realized that Frank was about to tell him something he had always been curious about.
He immediately perked up his ears, preparing to listen attentively.
"Frank, what exactly happened between you and Rebecca Kelloway? What has she deceived you about?"
"Do you remember, many years ago, when I held a birthday party, and I accidentally fell into the swimming pool that night and almost drowned?"
"Of course, I remember. I have a deep impression of that incident. That night, you were almost drowned." Yannick would never forget that.
But what did Frank Parker want to say by suddenly bringing this up?
Did his falling out with Rebecca have anything to do with this?
What exactly did she deceive him about?
It seemed Frank had calmed down at this point, and his face returned to its usual cold demeanor: "The person who saved me that night wasn't Rebecca. She lied to me and deceived me for a full ten years."
