Atticus was in a weird state of mind.
Scenes he had never seen before had just played in his mind.
'Solvath.'
The name evoked a power he couldn't explain in him. Like the roar of an ancient beast that just awoke.
Atticus first heard the name during his first meeting with Elderish. He had found out about the makings of the world, the betrayal that led to the formation of Solvath's fragments. Of the kin of the fallen star.
But back then, the name had felt like a distant memory, one that was unreachable. But now, as he evoked the name, Atticus felt a rush, then a sudden connection the likes of which he had never felt before.
As he continued to clash with his opponent, Atticus watched, eyes wide, as his crimson will began to shift, changing color from blood red to blinding purple.
Instantly, Atticus felt an inexplicable connection to the world, like he was being watched by eternity. As though life itself acknowledged him.
