Adam looks at the familiar face before him and smiles at her.
It's Suzaan, Isla's best friend.
Suzaan didn't expect Isla to bring Adam back.
"Nice to meet you... Again," Adam says with a smile on his face. Knowing that Suzaan isn't a huge fan of his, he wonders how he should behave around her.
She is, after all, Isla's best friend, and he won't torture Isla by making it difficult for her by making her choose between the two, but Adam can't also allow Suzaan to have her way.
He needs to make her realize that he is now a very important part of Isla's life and she can't have any say or involvement in matters which relate to them.
As Adam greeted her with a pleasant smile, Suzaan took her time checking out Adam from head to toe. Like always, she thought Adam was handsome, but she still doesn't understand the reason for Isla's intense obsession with him.
It's not like Adam's the only incredibly handsome man that has tried to make a move on Isla, but unlike Adam, all of them failed.
