Loria was completely bamboozled by Adam's blatant action. To stare her right in the eyes and suck the sticky fluids off his fingers, indicating that he knew all along that she had been watching him, even so, he continued with his act as if no one was watching.
What gives Adam the confidence to do this? Does he not fear that she might call him out on his actions, or did he read her back and realize that she won't do it?
The more Loria delves into it, the more she becomes curious about this young man. From the looks of it, he isn't even twenty years old, but those eyes of his feel like they have seen the world for what it really is, and it's a scary feeling.
If Adam is already this aware of people and the world, what is he going to be when he is in his thirties and forties?
