Adam gets back to work and finishes his shift. He bids farewell to his coworkers and walks up to his car.
He sits in it and is about to head back when his phone suddenly rings.
It's from Jack.
Adam looks at the caller screen and wonders what his old man wants. He picks up the call.
"Where are you?" Jack asks. He is clearly not someone who likes to waste time in idle chats.
"Just got off from work," Adam answers.
"Good, meet me at my office," Jack replies.
"Why?" Adam asks.
"I will tell you when you get here," Jack answers.
Adam stays silent for a second before answering. "Okay, I will be there within an hour."
"I won't be going anywhere," Jack says, and the call ends. Adam looks at his phone again, wondering why Jack called him to his office. He has never done that before.
"Well, whatever, let's go check and see what the old man needs," Adam murmurs and starts his car, and is about to drive out when someone suddenly steps before his car.
