Julia feels as if her heart is all the way up her throat as she feels very anxious after asking Adam the question she wanted to ask all along.
Why is it that Adam doesn't make a move on her? What's stopping him from doing so?
She knows how Adam feels about her. She knows that Adam wants her, but when she presented herself to him, even though it was malicious in nature from her side, she thought Adam would bite, but he rejected her.
But for what? He had no reason to reject her. Sure, they might have had their disagreements, she might have been harsh on him, she might have even put him down once or twice, but they couldn't be the only reason Adam rejected her.
Men, she has done much worse to have folded before her the moment she showed even a hint of affection towards them. She knows her charm. She knows she is that woman, so why did Adam not fold? Especially when she didn't bother holding back at all, she wanted to go all in.
