Mana:
- Mana is present in every thing
- Anything capable of producing it's own mana it's regarded as a "living thing"
-Living beings are capable of producing mana from their body through a source known as a "core"
- Mana is often dormant in living organisms, mainly serving to keep them alive for the most part
-In the old days, there existed a legend of a race, who possessed a special ability which allowed them to use their own mana to control the mana of the living things around them
-Mana is the basis of the power system used in this world
Aura release and manipulation:
- Aura is enhanced mana
- Mana can be enhanced through rigorous training
- Once mana has been enhanced into Aura, it can begin to be cultivated into "stars"
-Mana can be cultivated in 2 ways, physically (through rigorous physical training or experience from battles) and spiritually (via meditation, mana circulation), you need a balance of both to have perfect mastery of your Aura
-Aura release and manipulation is primarily used by knights
-Aura can be released and imbued into a weapon of choice
Stars:
- A "star" is basically a peripheral mana core
- Regular humans and regular knights have only one mana core, which produces the mana that keeps them alive (nothing more).
-However, there are special knights who, not only have the regular mana core for keeping them alive, but have an extra one which sort of acts like a "reservoir" for mana energy. These knights are said to have a "star" and are referred to as "Starred Knights"
- This "star" grants a boost in the physical stats of these knights, allowing them to perform feats that would normally be considered as superhuman.
- Cultivating a star is time consuming and needs a balance of both the physical and spiritual sides of being a human (see aura release and manipulation)
-Only a small amount of knights have been able to cultivate Stars.
-The more stars a knight cultivates, the stronger the knight becomes, also, the harder it becomes to cultivate more stars.
- The most amount of stars a knight has ever cultivated is 7 (it seems that is the most amount of stars the human body can physically handle)
Knight Styles and Techniques
- Only Knights who have cultivated up to at least their second "star" can begin training to develop a specific style
- However, before developing their own style, they have to train in the regular knight style
- Each Knight Style has a specific weapon of choice e.g Golden Knight Style users use sword (as seen with Rhys), Iron Knight Style users use twin gauntlets (as seen with Angus), etc
-A different weapon can be used, however, if you are to use a weapon not attributed to that particular style (e.g using a staff for the golden Knight Style) a new form or technique has to be invented for that specific form
- Knights have to be skilled in using at least more than one weapon,
