"Rocky take care of the orc in the back, I'll take this guy, keep him away from the girls even if you have to use howl" Rocky rushes past Amy and Tiana then lunges at the orc and bites into its arm.
Mike turns toward the incoming orc and finally notices that the orc is right behind him, with no chance to fully turn around he sees its right arm coming at him from his left side. He lifts his sword just in time and stabs the orc in its forearm, the sword gets stuck between bones and since he doesn't release his grip is yanked off his feet. When the orcs arm stops its swing the force makes the sword slice toward the hand separating it in two right down the middle. Mike was surprised, he didn't expect anything to happen he just lifted the weapon and didn't let go.
Meanwhile, Rocky would not release his enemy's arm and was whipped around and bashed into the walls of the canyon. The orc finally managed to toss Rocky at the expense of a chunk of its flesh back towards where the orc came from. It then started to rush towards the girls and in the back, a howl can be heard, the orc stops in its tracks, turns around, and rushes back.
At this moment the orc Mike was fighting turns to look at the howl. Mike looks at the stretched-out neck and the wounded arm of the orc, knowing this is as good a chance as he is going to get, and rushes forward. He manages to slice into the neck of the orc but it immediately covers its wound with the left hand. Mike keeps slashing and the orc just keeps attempting to protect itself, but with its right useless and the left arm keeping itself from bleeding out, the attempts become useless and it collapses on the floor defenseless.
"You have leveled up"
By this time Erin and Billie had just finished off the orcs they were handling and just watched Mike finish off the orc. When Mike turns around he sees that Rocky we being mercilessly attacked and flung around repeatedly with Tiana and Amy just watching it happen. Mike welled up with anger, he rushed at the orc and jumped on its back, Mike kept attacking even when blood no longer squirt out of the wounds and the body had fallen to the floor.
When Erin and Billie saw this they were worried, Mike looked like a madman to them. What they didn't know was that although Mike was typically a calm and harmless-looking person, certain acts would cause his rage to show. In this case, Mike saw that his companion Rocky was desperately trying to protect the girls, yet they wouldn't help him and let the orc unleash attack after attack on Rocky and only stood by and watched. Rocky stood up and limped towards Mike with broken bones, although Rocky did not simpler Mike felt sad that his companion would be this wounded.

Suddenly Rocky seemed to be regenerated, completely healed with the notifications. Although he looked fine Mike was still sad for what happened to him and mad at the girls that didn't lift a finger to help him. Erin and Billie were busy taking care of their enemies and hadn't noticed that the girls only watched as Rocky was wounded. Erin and Billie walked over to everyone and Billie looks at the girls "Looks like things got intense" Amy looks back and in a mocking tone "They did their job, I guess, it was kind of close though the orcs almost got close to us".
Erin looks around "Looks like this was a success, we can end it here for today". Mike was still over with Rocky when he turns around "I will not be joining your party, I don't trust you to have my back when I need it so I won't be risking my life with these heartless bitches" This offended Amy and tiana and they finally lifted their staves off the ground, Amy was mad at the comment "what did you say you little shit" Billie looked at them and said "wow, everyone needs to calm down" Erin also speaks up "amy, Tiana, calms your shit, what the hell happened" amy looks at Erin "I don't know this guy is just being and asshole". Erin looks at Mike "Could you tell me why you're mad?, maybe we can work this out" Mike looked at Amy with rage "They just sat back and watched as the orc almost killed Rocky, I can't trust them behind me if that how they act during practice" Erin was confused and looked at tiana "is that true" tiana relaxed a moment "yea it's true, we weren't supposed to get involved to see how strong he was, that's what you told us" Billie understood mikes anger "so even though the plan was for him to fight only one orc, the moment another showed up you just sat back and watched as his familiar almost died trying to protect you?" tiana thought for a moment "well damn when you say it like that..." amy still felt offended by mike "so what it's just a stupid weak familiar".
Erin shouted "That's enough!..." everyone looked at him and calmed down a little, then he lowered his voice to normal "alright Mike, we are sorry about your familiar, but let's just go back for today... You passed our test to if you want to we will still accept you into the raiding party so..." mike turns around "ill go back on my own, I'm not interested in this anymore".
Erin a Billie attempted to call mikes attention but failed. They spoke amongst themselves for a moment and then decided to follow him out and walked back the same way they came in. Mike had hidden in a dark corner and watched as they walked past him.
Mike finally understood why his sister was so worried for him. Those were people that he would ultimately enter a dangerous situation with, and yet he couldn't trust them behind him, their attitude towards Rocky showed him that in a tight spot, they most likely wouldn't help if it put them in danger, yet he was expected to put himself in danger for them.
While he waited for them to leave, he searched the menu and found:

Mike was confused, last time he didn't have any weak souls. Suddenly another window opens:
"the servant Jenkins leveled up"
When he looked at the first window again he noticed that the weak souls option changed to 10/11, Mike realized that Jenkins hunting alone in the dungeon had obtained weak souls for him. But he had been ignoring the notification to the point that the menu was no longer notifying him, quite a few of those weak souls were most likely from this dungeon. Mike was amazed that he wasn't just getting souls from this dungeon but also from Jenkins. Mike decided to feed the weak souls to Rocky, so he summons him and the souls from storage, then one by one feeds him. Rocky seemed to enjoy eating the souls so Mike fed the 10 souls, rather quickly.

Mike was in shock, this profession that some considered trash is in reality amazing at least with the menu. Mike thinks of how without the menu showing him all the information this profession would have had too many obstacles for it to grow. Mike looks around and notices it's been a while since the party passed by, Mike wants to have Rocky hunt and test out his new skill. He also summons Bonny to find out what she could do.
When Bonny comes out of her dimension she then looks around and sees Rocky who is waging his tail as he looks at her, she ignored him and looked at Mike. He didn't know how to deal with her but he figured spending time with her was a good start so he decided to keep her out of the dimension as much as possible. Although he didn't seem interested she saw Mike leave the cave with Rocky and followed them. Mike noticed this and was happy to know that Bonny had shown interest in them, perhaps this was a good sign.
