Due to corruption she rapidly grew and was then caught by some humans who most likely were under orders of a Regressor.

He had already sent Teresa to check that place out.
Just then Beech in his arms convulsed.
She frowned in annoyance, " Stay Put Human. Can't You See, I'm Busy. "

Alex amusedly watched as finally, his girlfriend's one eye became brown and one green.
They had learnt to coexist now.

They had also become friends.

" Ouch. " They both moaned at same time, red hand print clear on their asscheek.

He then turned to Beech, asking, " Have your senses now covering the whole city? "
" Hmm. Yeah, " Beech nodded taking control over Madison's body, " I can sense 3 Players. But, they are weak. Should we go and kill them? "
Originally, Beech had whole city under her control due to her spores.
But, Alex had already destroyed them before, causing her to repeat the process.
But, now with Alex's help the process wasn't much long. But, for the survivors in city the newfounded phenomenon was terrifying.
The whole of Hiesta City was covered in Yellow storm.
Well, it wasn't a storm as Alex had artificially created the air current.
And yellow color was actually from the billions of Spores released by Beech.
They were her eyes and ears. And also her way to propogate.
" No need. I can just kill them from here, " Alex smiled.
He took Beech's hand, and used her abundant Mana to fly up to the tallest building nearby.
Actually by now he could use some amount of Mana himself, but he liked using others' things.
From here, Alex could see the reckage of the crashed airplane and the ruined battlefield where he and Cynthia had fought Beech.
Ignoring it, he closed his eyes and focused on Beech's 'eyes'.
Sure enough he quickly noticed 3 Players, she had mentioned.
All of them were surrounded by women and had Stage 2 women amongst them.
Alex believed that there must be lot more Players in this 1 million huge city.
But, finding them would obviously take time, since unless he saw them himself he wouldn't know if they're Players.

So, using this sneaky method he marked 3 Players.
Opening his eyes in real time, he raised his finger.
A dense amount of Mana coagulated there, as Beech and Madison watched in awe.
Then next moment, a bright beam of light flew off and suddenly pierced three Players at the same time, killing them at the spot.

Through Beech's spores Alex was notified of the panic that the women around these Players.
Smiling, he checked his System Panel.
Now, the Stage 3 and 4 promotion token could be seen there with numbers (01/20) written besides them.
That 1 obviously pointed to Beech and Madison.
Now to unlock Stage 5 token he needed to kill 4 Players.
The job surely wasn't going to be tough, since Alex now was a lot stronger than any of them.
Besides, there was another surprise. Something he liked very much....
Now, to get Stage 2 promotion token, he no longer needed 20 women at Stage 1 peak. Rather, only 10!

Madison and Beech watched him leave in daze, glared at each other and then left to follow orders.
The next some time was going to be the pure grinding, since now there wasn't anyone around who could threaten Alex or his women.
With his strengthened body, Alex completely threw himself into increasing the number of his subordinates.
Over the next 1 week, two news spread rapidly through the Albigion and the World.
One was the appearance of massive mutated whale at Eastern Survivors' Camp of Albigion, news said that the monster was the Stage 5 mutated undead beast!
But, even more shocking thing was that the monster was killed!
This hinted at another Stage 5 human's appearance in the World.
That also in a country that wasn't one of the superpowers!
The second news was also from Albigion, about the Player who declared the South of Albigion as his own territory and claimed to have a Stage 5 powerhouse as well!
While the first news was explosive, the second news made tremors more devastating.
By now, all major powers knew about Players. Most of them had even enslaved them to farm Stage Promotion Tokens.
But, now one of these slaves in their eyes had become a Sovereign of an area.
All major powers condemned this!
But, no one sent their military to scourge Alex who stood like a mountain in front of them. As, they ignored him for now like problem in someone else's household and focused on their own shit.
On the other hand, Hiesta city experienced the massive intake of survivors.
Humans knowing the fear of undead, didn't care about Alex's status as a Player.
Even after, Alex's women explained what implications lay in going to Hiesta City they still came.
They just wanted to live.
Surprisingly, the Hiesta City didn't kick away anyone. Not young, not old. Neither men nor women.

These walls were obviously created by Alex, whose territory related abilities levelled up largely after having Madison reach Stage 4.

While, many were discontent, the place was going smooth because Alex had no qualms killing them, besides his Teacher Drittney who had reached Stage 3 had a magical ability that could make people weaker than her believe what she said.
With few words from her, she could easily turn these weak men into her puppets.
Still, he checked if there was some problem but found nothing major.
The weapon factory was running full and with blueprints he had handed over to Mechanical Department they were making high end mechas, guns, etc slowly.
But, it shouldn't take too long before the stable supply starts.
Newly created Research Department was also running at full speed in research of various things.
Just as Alex had finished his check up, the door to his throne room was pushed open.
" Seems, my next preys are here, " Alex stretched as he got up from Josephine's lap.
Led by his sister Alina, many uncertain, fearful and confused women walked in.

But, that was until the rescue sent by Royal Capital arrived...
Cynthia clad in trench coat and expensive fur, stood atop the ruined defenses, gazing at the raging sea waves that contained who knows what kind of horrors.
Clenching her steel fist, she silently mourned the demise of hundreds of thousands.
The shores were covered in countless and countless number of parasite corpses that were being burnt by mask and white suit wearing people to avoid the spread of plague.
While engineers in similar protective clothing ran around doing the maintenance of the steel island.
The city behind her was silent in the dark night.
The grief was everywhere, alongside the stench of human and parasite corpses.
Only upside might be that most of those who picked up weapons to fight these pests and survived, were now at Stage 1 peak.
May be without, this levelling. Humans wouldn't even have held out until she had arrived with aid.

" Consort- Lady Cynthia, I thought you would be resting? " The female voice changed her wording, as soon as she saw Cynthia's glare.

" The battle here is over. Royal Capital has suggested your return... " Alsa respectfully said.
Even though she herself was an ability user, for Alsa, Cynthia's status was unsurmountable.
" Have you found out who hid the report about the Stage 5 monster? " Cynthia sharply asked.
" Lady Cynthia, your esteemed father and his majesty has already discovered the incident. It was Rutherford family who transmitted the wrong information... But, they claimed innocence by saying that they had little to no knowledge of these otherworldly entities... " Alsa sighed.
Previously she had no attachment to Cynthia, and was just doing her job as the Royal Servant to be her bodyguard or more likely just an escort after Cynthia was given the status of Consort of the Royal Prince.

When the request came, the King was forced to make a decision to send rescue.
Cynthia Iwanosky who had returned just few days ago with sufficient strength was decided to be sent unanimously.
Iwanosky family who had suddenly risen high through Cynthia, also thought of this as a chance to elevate their status further.
So, Cynthia's father ordered her to leave for the rescue.
Gritting her teeth, Cynthia had unwillingly obeyed under her family's persuasion.
But, when they reached the Aquarion, the city was a mess.
The situation was so horrifying that, even the chunk of a steel land-mass was missing, most likely eaten by some massive entity!
The city was in upheaval with millions of aquatic parasites pouring into the land while the highest order was missing.
The Governor and council members had long ran away like motherfkers they were.
Still, without hesitation, Cynthia fought the battle killing tens of thousands of parasites in one swipe.
With her presence morale surged.
Survivors who had families to protect picked up whatever they can, as they now saw a hope.
Cynthia didn't disappoint them...
She rallied the remaining soldiers with encouraging words, and brought temporary salvation, so that remaining survivors could escape.
But, as if the monsters had noticed the situation, they then stopped mindlessly attacking Cynthia and focused on weaker areas.
In place of them, two large grotesque black creatures who looked like amalgamation of crab, lobster, fishes and unknown species appeared from deep sea.
They weren't huge... But, both were at Stage 4.
But, they weren't the worst that Cynthia had to face...
