Konoha.
Arisawa Residence.
Isagi was not aware that both Jiraiya and Sarutobi were super curious about his display of strength, as he with his abilities taking another leap after copying Jiraiya was now completely worry free and strolling around the village.
But while he was strolling around looking for something fun, trouble seemed to be looking for him also, as walking on the streets his good mood gradually took a turn, an annoyed look appearing on his face.
"Aren't there more serious things to worry about rather than keeping an eye on me?" Muttered Isagi in an annoyed tone, his mind eye of kagura catching two extremely chilly and cold chakra signature following him everywhere.
These chakra signatures gave Isagi a feeling of lifelessness and devoid of emotion, like sharp tools existing solely for the use of their master.
It didn't take Isagi much time to figure out who these two were, as in the village only shinobi belonging to that organization capable of having such chilly and emotionless chakra.
"Guess I would have to live with this for a while." Isagi could sense the two shinobi following him had no intention of harming him and were there solely to monitor his every moment. As a konoha shinobi he couldn't attack and kill them either, as it would only invite more and might even bring an unnecessary tag of a traitor and rogue.
Shaking his head Isagi continued his stroll around the village, ignoring the root shinobi as he really had nothing to hide and everything about him was in the open for the village.
"The entertainment department really needs to be worked on, that way there would be less psychopaths also." Through his stroll around the village, Isagi noticed how limited the entertainment options were and this village was truly almost like a military base in his previous life.
The only entertainment options were eating, a not so well-developed movies department and pleasure houses, which while weren't banned but shinobi viewed it against the code of a ninja and was frowned upon in shinobi community.
Isagi now didn't really find it strange that in such a constricted environment where killing was so common and not much to release the stress, no therapy department either, that so many lunatics would be born always thinking about changing the world their own way, destroying it and so on.
Almost walking around the whole morning Isagi felt a rumbling in his stomach and immediately strode towards the famous BBQ place of Akimichi Clan.
Finding an empty big table at the corner Isagi didn't waste time ordering the biggest BBQ platter that they offered, and after it arrived began to wolf down on it like a starving ghost.
"Huh? That's…."But suddenly Isagi's eating movement came to a halt as his mind eye of kagura picked a familiar chakra passing by the restaurant.
"So, he's still alive…but perhaps not for much longer"The chakra he sensed was from Gekko Hayate, the man who was the examiner in the preliminaries and would soon be killed by Baki of the sand, poking a hornet's nest and inviting his death.
What funnier was his death hardly changed anything and the plan still went smoothly.
"Saving him won't benefit me in the slightest." Thought Isagi, tearing apart another strip of meat with his teeth. "I would only create unnecessary variables about the upcoming attack…and with his personality even if he's saved, he'll just try again and die eventually…"
Isagi was not a saint who wanted to help a stranger at the cost of someone he wanted to die ending up surviving due to a butterfly effect. Trying to save him meant fighting Baki and possibly even kabuto, and that meant he would have to kill them both, which he could with his current strength, but would only change the future and make things unpredictable.
Hayate was not worth going through all this trouble at all.
After eating his fill Isagi paid the bill and left the restaurant, a lot of thoughts running inside his head.
-------------------
It was another beautiful night with the full moon shining brightly over the village, streets quiet and desolate as it was way pass midnight and most people sleep.
Swish! Swish!
But in this calm night, a figure with a pale face and donning a jonin jacket with konoha forehead protector around his head, a sword fixed on his back, jumped from roof to roof seemingly looking for something.
"Huh?"
Suddenly the man frowned as his movements came to a halt, stopping on a tiled rooftop and gazing ahead with a wary look in his eyes.
A very tall man donning a black which completely covered him from head to toe, with only leaving a pair of green eyes gleaming in the dark.
