I looked the library at the heart of Seorabit, my eyes scanning the shelves for a book that could help me with my research. I was trying to find more records about the Pillars of Darkness that my ancestors might have left behind. Maybe they had some clues on how to defeat them. I had already found some interesting texts, but none that gave me a clear answer.
I sighed and put the latest book back on the shelf. It was a history of the Great War between the God of Darkness and the Goddess of Light, but it only briefly mentioned the Pillars as "the shadows of the enemy". Poetic, but not very helpful.
I gasped as I came across a book that caught my attention. It was about super ancient relics of our clan that were forged in the height of our clan, back when we were united and living in Abyssia. But the book was copy in a long line of copies. Still, our scribes were good at making sure the old knowledge was passed down.
