I followed Leonardo as we soared over the clouds. The wind was cold, but refreshing. The view was stunning. I had missed flying like this. It made me feel free, alive.
But I also felt nervous. I was going to meet my past life's sister. Was a lowly girl like me truly the reincarnation of Fate? What even could she do? Everyone knew the Seven Archangels, but apart from maybe the Suyume, no one knew much about those outside of the group. The church for some reason denied their existence. But Leonardo admitted to me they existed. Perhaps he would tell me more about them.
"Leo?" I called out.
He looked at me, his expression unreadable. "Yes?"
"Why does the church deny the existence of the other archangels, going as far as labeling those like the Suyume tribe as heretics?"
