Outside the front door of the mansion, two people were coming out with sad and helpless faces on their faces. Those two people were Silk and Mayor Boodle.
They had just recently finished their little meeting with Gally about the weekly fee each person in town had to pay if they didn't want to be killed by Gally's pirates.
"Mayor what shall we do...?" asked Silk in a sad tone as she walked slowly.
"Don't worry, I will find a solution" said the mayor with a frown.
"Tonight at night Kenzo will try to escape from the village to ask for help to the nearest marine base" he added.
Kenzo was the village blacksmith and could be considered the strongest person in this village. So he would be the one in charge of performing this very dangerous task.
Gally was very extreme with the conditions he imposed on the villagers so that they could save themselves and not be killed by him or his pirates. Every 2 days all villagers without exception would have to pay a fee, if they did not they would be brutally murdered.
In Silk's case, although she is only 16 years old she has her own business called [Café & Bistro] so she has money to pay, but many villagers who don't have a business like them have difficulties paying. So she decided to give them her money to save them, putting herself in a difficult situation.
Silk does this as she loves her village and all the villagers very much becoming very protective of everyone. This is so because she is an orphan of pirates. And if it wasn't for the people of this village who decided to take care of her despite her origins she would have died when she was a baby.
Still, it would be a matter of time before all the villagers run out of money and are killed, so Silk would run out of customers and would be the next to die.
Knowing this, they had to do something so that their people would not be totally killed by Gally's pirates.
"That's very dangerous-" Before Silk could finish her sentence she heard the sound of several gunshots coming from the courtyard of the mansion which was where Gally's pirates were.
"What is that?" exclaimed Boodle surprised by the gunshots.
"Can it be...?" whispered Silk as she started running back to the mansion.
"Wait Silk it's dangerous!" shouted the mayor as he followed Silk at a slower speed because of his advanced age.
Silk arrived at the same place she had left earlier and her while observing the situation. The sheer amount of gunfire made her think that something strange was going on.
Boodle followed her from behind and whispered, "It's dangerous, let's get out of here."
"Look at that!" said Silk in a low tone with surprise as she pointed in a direction.
Boodle frowned at being ignored by this girl but followed with his eyes where Silk pointed.
When he noticed what Silk was saying his eyes widened noticeably and a great surprise came over him. On the floor, there was a dead pirate with a mark on his forehead dripping blood.
This pirate had been seen a few minutes ago and now he was dead, even so, he did not feel pity, on the contrary, he felt relief and hope that someone was attacking Gally and his pirates. Silk felt the same.
Silk began to look more closely and noticed that Gally and the other pirates were looking toward one of the high walls of the mansion.
Silk and Boodle followed the view to this wall and what they saw surprised them. At the top of the wall stood a black-haired, blue-eyed boy with handsome features looking menacingly at all the pirates.
'Who is this...?' thought Silk at first she thought the marines came to save her village, she didn't imagine that this was a boy who looked to be her age or a few years younger.
This was Shun as he climbed the wall he noticed that all the pirates were looking at him and pointing their guns at him, waiting for Gally's orders.
"Brat, Why are you attacking us?" asked Gally noticing a bit of anger in his tone.
Silk and Boodle managed to barely hear these words from Gally. They tried their best to listen to the conversation.
Usually, Gally is not one to talk when someone attacks him, and even more so if they killed one of his crew, but in Shun's case he noticed that he dodged the bullets with ease and if he had wanted to he could have run away. Besides he had a devil fruit and Gally, although he was from one of the weaker seas knew of the strange and powerful powers of these devil fruits.
So he is being more careful than usual and controlling his anger a little more.
Shun instead of answering, asked in a monotone, "Are you Gally?"
"Oh, you seem to know my name. Well, it's normal when you're such a famous pirate" Gally said boastingly.
Shun's look changed to one of disdain, he only knew this old man thanks to Toma who told him about his identity, and all he cared about was his bounty. Not if he was someone famous.
'That's eight pirates. Gally's underlings are no big deal. As for Gally himself so far he didn't make any moves...' Shun analyzed in his mind.
This fight was similar to the one he had a 1 1/2 years ago against the kangaroos, the difference was that the kangaroos had more numbers and he was able to conclude that the kangaroos were stronger than these pirates, except Gally as he did not know their strength.
He was able to conclude such a thing, since when these pirates shot at him many bullets missed.
Similar to the pirates he killed on the ship, so his strength must be similar to theirs, which does not imply a threat.
"Answer my question cryo. I Gally am one of the 3 most fearsome pirates there are in this sea, don't piss me off" shouted Gally with fury in his tone.
The other pirates kept pointing their guns at Shun to shoot at any moment.
Silk and Boodle were a bit startled by Gally's loud shout, and looked towards Shun with more concentration wanting to hear his answer to know his identity.
'I doubt that...' thought Shun with a strange expression. Although he knew little about pirates since he spent 2 years on an island, if Gally was one of the most fearsome pirates their level would be very low.
Knowing who Gally was, Shun already knew who to attack and did not hold back, "Cutting Wind!" exclaimed Shun as he concentrated compressed air in one of his arms and launched it straight at Gally.
A blast of wind with a body shot out of his arm at high speed heading straight for Gally. This one was larger and more powerful compared to the one he used a year and a half ago.
Because of the speed of this attack, Gally was unable to do anything and was hit by the large gust of wind.
Gally's body was cleanly cut in half horizontally, 'What the hell...' thought Gally, 'Are those my legs...?'
Gally got to look at his legs only they were missing half of his body, After a few seconds his upper body fell to the ground.
Gally looked incredulously at Shun who was still on the wall with a confused expression, 'This brat...' After that last thought Gally left this world.
