At 10:30 a.m, just as Yuto was about to go for his daily necessities, he heard a gentle knock on the door. Opening it, he was greeted by an academy teacher who had supervised the exam the day before. The teacher introduced himself as Suzuki Takeshi and informed Yuto that he would be his class teacher for the upcoming year.
He expressed, "I observed your performance yesterday, and you performed exceptionally well. Keep up the great work."
Yuto responded with a simple "Thanks." Suzuki smiled and took his leave.
After a few minutes later, he went shopping for some daily necessities.
Upon arriving home, he was excited because he got the chakra paper by showing the identity that he is an academy student. As he infused his chakra into the chakra paper, half of it wrinkled and the other half became damp. He was overjoyed, thinking, 'I got the affinities that I wanted previously.' Having both of them is pretty good as they compliment each other well. He can start practicing more seriously than before as he was not sure what would be his affinities.
He also thought of mixing the sword technique and lightning nature as it can put my iai technique to a whole another level. And there is also Hatake's clan who excels in kenjutsu and lightning style namely, Konoha "White Fang" Hatake Sakumo if only he could have the hand on his technique which will be important in my development.
He also wanted to know about how much he is attuned to other elements so that he will have an easier time in training if he knew beforehand.
Today was the first day of the academy, and Yuto was excited about the new chapter in his life. He woke up early at 5 am, got ready, and went through his morning workout before heading to the academy. Class 1A, on the fourth floor, was assigned to him. When he entered the classroom, he saw that over 20 students had already arrived, most of them proudly wearing their ninja clan crests.
Curious, Yuto wondered if there were over 10 divisions in his year, given the classroom's limited size. At 8 am, their teacher, Suzuki Takeshi, introduced himself as a chunin who had fought bravely in the previous great ninja war. Then, he asked the students to introduce themselves.
Yuto learned that his class had 30 kids, including 3 Uchiha, 2 Hyuga, 2 Nara, 2 Yamanaka, 2 Akimichi, 2 Inuzuka, and 1 each from Aburame, Sarutobi, Shimura, Kato, and Hatake clans. Surprisingly, there were 3 from Senju and 2 from Kurama clan. The remaining 7, including Yuto, were normal civilians.
Suzuki Takeshi explained that these 30 students had scored the highest in the entrance exam out of the 390 who passed. They were considered the elite, and everyone had high expectations of them. He promised to provide the best education, and even Lord Hokage would monitor their special tests every 6 months.
Yuto was excited about the access to the academy library's E and D sections, where he hoped to find valuable resources. He decided to give the library a proper tour soon.
The academy's tour showed them all the classrooms, the library, the training grounds, and the canteen area. Yuto noted the different training areas, like the running track, obstacle race track, shooting area, balancing area, and a small pond at the far end of the training grounds.
Back in the classroom, Takeshi explained their curriculum for the year, which included chakra, hand signs, chakra control, Taijutsu, Genjutsu theory, and shuriken throwing, along with regular subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Language, History, Geography, and Civics.
As soon as the class was dismissed, Yuto hurried to the library. He was curious about the composition of other classes and ran into his friends, Hiroshi and Riku. They chatted briefly, and Yuto discovered that his class had only 30 students, while others had 50 each, which means there were 8 classes including his.
After parting ways, Yuto continued to the library, eager to explore its section merit that was given after the completion of the mission, and Section C was restricted for now. Yuto thought that it's understandable as they cannot allow any shinobi having access to high-ranked jutsus or enemy shinobi infiltrating and copying it.
Yuto started his exploration from section 0, which contained basic ninja-related information. Then, he moved on to sections E and D, where he found numerous rank E and D jutsu scrolls, including lightning and water style jutsus.
Skimming through the titles took Yuto several hours, but it was worth it. He was pleased with his findings like 'Introduction to Fuinjutsu', 'Chakra control and its development', 'Earth style: Tunneling jutsu', etc and thought about planning his next couple of years to make the most of these resources and become a strong shinobi as here there are various types of jutsu which can serve as a base in creating his technique.
As he had joined the academy, he doesn't have free time anymore like before training the whole day. 'So I need to readjust my training time completely as now 4 hours are taken up by the academy. And he has to get at least 6 hours of sleep for maintaining the stress and another 2 hours of any miscellaneous activities that leave me with 12 hours only.' Yuto thought, sighing.
'I really need to up the training of chakra control so that at least I can produce one shadow clone as practicing this can lower the cost of chakra consumption.' He thought, with the fire in his eyes.
