Chapter 29 - Chapter 429: The magic of Pym particles!

Fang Yan picked up a glass experimental vial, roughly the thickness of a finger. The vial contained a crimson liquid resembling blood, its subtle movement indicating fluidity.

This vial contained the Pym particles that Fang Yan had meticulously developed over several days using the standard formula.

"Stay still, little fish!" Fang Yan murmured as he pressed a switch on the vial, causing a needle to emerge from its bottom.

To ensure the efficacy of the Pym particles, they had to be securely contained to prevent leakage. However, there was no visible puncture on the needle. Fang Yan had opted for an alternative method—using electrical currents to transmit the particles. After all, Pym particles were not drugs; they were particles, making electricity the most efficient medium for transmission.

"Here goes nothing!" With a press of the switch, a vivid red bolt of lightning surged forth and struck the plump fish.

In an instant, the fish shrank, dwindling until it was almost the size of an ant, all the while struggling against its sudden reduction.

Despite its smaller size, the fish appeared unharmed, indicating a successful experiment.

"Haha! It worked!" Fang Yan exclaimed joyfully, a grin stretching across his face.

"Congratulations, sir!" Jarvis chimed in, extending his own congratulations.

"However, it's been successfully reduced. Now, let's see about restoration!" Fang Yan declared as he retrieved a light blue vial.

Still perfecting his method, Fang Yan hadn't achieved the ability for one-button enlargement and reduction, a characteristic of the Ant-Man suit. Due to equipment constraints, he could only resort to a more primitive approach for now.

A brilliant azure bolt of lightning coursed through the fish, which expanded back to its original size in the blink of an eye.

"Off you go, big fat fish!" Fang Yan coaxed, manually opening the micro-robot cage and releasing the fish back into the lake.

"Now that the Pym particle is fully developed, Jarvis, set up the lab. I'm ready to create an Ant-Man suit!" Fang Yan's excitement was palpable.

Armed with the Pym particles, Fang Yan's next endeavor was to craft the Ant-Man suit. Dr. Pym's suit in the Marvel universe was the epitome of versatility, capable of not only resizing but also possessing invulnerability and a range of other abilities.

Fang Yan's version of Pym particles currently existed in their most diminutive form. To facilitate better control over size manipulation, a controller was imperative.

"Of course, sir!" Jarvis responded promptly.

The micro-robots sprang into action, their efficiency astonishing. Operating seamlessly under Jarvis' guidance, they facilitated a remarkably smooth process.

"With successful tests on living organisms, it's safe to assume non-living objects will work even better. Let's give it a try!" Fang Yan decided, his gaze falling on a potted flower.

Pressing the switch, a vivid red lightning bolt streaked forth. In an instant, the nearly human-sized flower shrank to the size of a pocket model.

"It's like a miniature toy!" Fang Yan mused, though his attempt to hold the tiny flower pot inadvertently resulted in it slipping through his fingers and creating a small hole in the soil upon impact.

"Despite the smaller size, the original mass remains intact. Strangely enough, I didn't sense its weight when I held it. The physics in Marvel technology is indeed peculiar."

Ant-Man's size manipulation, particularly the law of mass alteration, posed certain inconsistencies. This discrepancy likely stemmed from the Pym particles themselves.

Having encountered an array of multidimensional physical laws, Fang Yan found this irregularity unsurprising.

"It appears my decision to prioritize Pym particle development was well-founded. With micro-robots and Pym particles at my disposal, I possess formidable self-defense capabilities."

Micro-robots offered a combination of offense and defense, rendering them a potent technological asset. With sufficient numbers, Fang Yan could rival an entire army. Nevertheless, as their ranks grew, so did their size. Carrying around vast quantities of micro-robots daily wasn't feasible.

Pym particles, on the other hand, provided a unique solution. Fang Yan could condense millions of micro-robots into a compact box, then use Pym particles to shrink the container to a manageable size—a keychain, for instance. This allowed him to carry his formidable arsenal discreetly and, if necessary, enlarge it instantly to ensure his safety.

The synergy between these two technologies was impressive.

"Let's minimize any conspicuous displays, though. Despite their strength, micro-robots are vulnerable to magnetic interference, which could disable them. This approach offers protection, but it's not sufficient for unchecked power."

Micro-robots relied on magnetic fields for control. Disruption of these fields would render the robots inoperative, regardless of their numbers. As a result, Fang Yan's strategy remained one of self-preservation, rather than unfettered dominance.

"Let's try something else!" With that, Fang Yan continued to experiment with Pym particles.

Half an hour later, Jarvis reported, "Sir, the laboratory is ready."

"Excellent! Just give me a moment." Fang Yan triggered the switch, causing a vibrant red bolt of lightning to transform the Land Rover into a pocket-sized model resembling a keychain.

"I should buy a few more cars, maybe rotate them daily. And I need to carry more cash next time—last time, I didn't have enough fun or spend enough money. I'll need a more extravagant experience next time!"

Translating scientific technology into the realm of extravagance had yielded satisfying results for Fang Yan. With Pym particles, his personal inventory was no longer confined to small objects. A snakeskin bag, for example, could now comfortably hold vast sums of cash, and Fang Yan could retrieve money as needed for his leisure.

Furthermore, Fang Yan's collection of cars could be augmented with additional models, each easily transformable into a full-sized vehicle for his enjoyment.

Suffused with a sense of delight, Fang Yan reveled in his newfound capabilities, ready to embark on further adventures.
