(Jason's POV)
I opened my eyes to see Mavis looking down at me. She had a worried look on her face as I felt her holding onto my hand.
"Hey..." She said softly, "How are you feeling?"
My entire body felt so sore, it was throbbing a lot. I wasn't surprised by this, I had overexerted myself trying to fight when I was in no condition.
"Ughh..." I groaned as I tried to sit up, "I'm fine."
My entire body trembled as I sat up.
"Hey, don't push yourself." Mavis said as she held my shoulders, "Your injuries were really bad. Your wounds from fighting Acnologia reopened and your entire body was strained to the point it couldn't handle it anymore. Wendy did her best to heal you...."
I looked at her, she was looking at me with her sad eyes.
"I see..." I said, "It doesn't feel good."
"You have to rest." She said, "We've been handling the fighting while you were asleep...."
"That's good to hear." I said
"Jason." Mavis said
She looked down, tears running down her cheek.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"I'm sorry." She sobbed, "It was my fault that Erion went there.....If I didn't kept him here, they wouldn't have taken him...."
She covered her face as she began to cry.
"Hey..." I said softly, "It's okay...It's not your fault...don't worry about it....I'll get him back."
"But.." She said looking at me, "I promised you....I..."
I patted her on the cheek, "It's okay." I said, "I had expected something like this to happen, Mavis. Don't worry, I promise you that I'll get him back."
She looked at me, her eyes red from crying, "O-Okay...." She said
Man, I can easily tell this wasn't easy for her. She does blame herself for what happened. I wasn't too surprised that Erion was bound to ignore all precautions and fly headfirst to a battle.
It sucks that Irene took him with her. I mean, he's my son and all. But I can't help but have a feeling that he's not in immediate danger. Currently, Irene's motherly instincts are on overdrive. She won't let anything happen to him. I can only count on that for the time being.
Zeref said he was going to use Erion as a weapon against Acnologia but since I fought and banished The Dragon King, I have nothing to worry about currently. But it's a matter of time where he thinks of something else and Erion is endangered. There's no doubt that they'll use him against me.
I have to prepare myself for that.
I gently rubbed her hands, "Look, Mavis." I said, "There's a lot going on right now. This war, the issue with Gray and his Father, and Erza finding out the truth. I need you on my side for this, I can't do this alone..."
She gave me a soft smile, "Okay.." She said patting my cheek, "I'll be by your side. Gray has calmed down, but he's still bothered by the whole ordeal. I'll speak to him if you want me to..."
I nodded, "Thanks." I said, "I appreciate it."
As I said this, the door behind Mavis opened and I watched as Kagura and Erza walked in.
"I knew it." Kagura said, "He's awake."
Erza sighed, "That's a relief." She said, "I was worried about you, Jason."
Mavis stepped back as they reached the bed where I was sitting.
"We have a lot to discuss, Jason." Kagura said crossing her arms, "As glad as I am that you're okay, there's too much going on right now."
I nodded, "Yea." I said, "I understand."
"Well, I must say that he still needs to rest, Kagura." Mavis told her, "Please, do not let him move too much. I'll go to the briefing room and speak to Natsu and Lucy. I have to direct our forces on the ground as well. Sorry for not being to spend time with you, Jason."
"It's fine." I said rubbing my neck, "Go and do what you gotta do."
As Mavis walked away, I noticed Kagura was looking at her with a strange expression. It was a mixture of envy and admiration. I noticed it just in time because as soon as Mavis left, Kagura changed it to a much serious one when she turned to face me again.
"Hey." She said, "You feeling okay?"
I nodded, "Somewhat." I said, "How are you two?"
Erza cleared her throat, "I can't hold it in anymore, Jason." She said, "What the hell?!"
I looked at her, "Eh?"
"You slept with my Mother and got her pregnant?!" She exclaimed, "N-Not just that, You kept the part that my biological mother was out there alive from me! I mean...Why? And to make it worse, if the math is correct....you had sex with her before you and I started having sex together!"
I looked away while scratching my cheek, "Yea, that's on me." I said, "I have no excuses, I accept whatever punishment you give me."
She started pacing around, frantically waving her arms around, "It's absolutely insane, Jason." She said, "My whole life, I wondered what had happened to my biological parents. After everything I had gone through and all, I wondered if they were dead or not..."
Kagura looked at her, "Calm down, Erza..." She said, "Take a deep breath.."
Erza stopped and looked at me, "Erion is my brother, Jason....." She said, "I knew there was something odd about him. The way he looked at me, I felt some sort of connection.....I mean....Jason....He's my actual brother?"
I nodded, "Yea..." I said, "He is..."
"My mother is a Dragon..." Erza said, "D-Does....that mean...?"
I shook my head, "No." I said, "You're human. Irene conceived you when she was human."
Kagura looked at me, "How do you know?" She asked, "Did she tell you when you slept together?"
I nodded, "Yea." I said, "We had a lot of time together."
Erza blushed, "Y-You..." She said, "How much time?"

"How long?!" Erza exclaimed
"Days." I said
I saw that Kagura also blushed as well, "D-Days?" She asked, "With Erza's mother?"
I nodded, "Yep." I said
"Wow..." Kagura replied
"Oh, I can't believe this." Erza said while blushing, "I have been having sex with my half-brother's father....No no no....it's so....wrong..."
I stood up, my feet wobbling slightly.
"Well, you're taking this better than I expected." I said, "Does that mean that you're willing to babysit your baby brother when I ask you to?"
Erza looked at me, "E-Eh?"
I chuckled, "I'm joking." I said patting her on the shoulder, "Help me, Erza. I know there's a lot more questions when it comes to your mother. But I'm asking you a favor, as your friend, and as the father of your half-brother..."
