Max steps forward, tossing the ball high into the air at the whistle. Jumping and slamming the ball over the net. Slamming off the court as Max lands and shouts.
"HAAA!!"
USA 5-4 Brazil
"Max holds no bars back showing why he's one of Team USA's staple servers! He steps up to serve and instantly scores an Ace!"
Kurai turns.
"Max, give us another one!" He tilts his head right. Max nods and tosses the ball again at the whistle. Brazil prepares as Max sends the ball to the back left of the court. Diego appeared under the ball at the last second and brought it up. Kurai turned and ran along the net with Sean and Jordan. 'Good, their setter received the ball, now they're out of system, the one most likely to spike in an out of system rally is the ol' reliable!' Sean, Jordan, and Kurai jump at the net for a triple block. The ball floating as Bruno sprints from the back of the court. Flying into the air.
"That won't stop me!!" Bruno grits his teeth, smashing the ball into the block, rebounding it into the seats.
USA 5-5 Brazil.
"What an insane rally! Even with Kurai, Sean, and Jordan forming a massive three person block, Brazil's opposite, Bruno Rochai plows it into a near effortless rebound!"
Bruno tosses the ball. Slamming it over the net as Kyle dives forward, pancaking the serve.
"It's low!" Kurai rushes over, leaning down on his knees and bending backwards into a high set down the middle. Jordan sprinting at the net and jumping. Diego appeared for a one person block. Jordan exhales and slams the ball past the block at an angle.
USA 6-5 Brazil
"These guys just won't let the ball drop! Everyone's going off this game!!"
"Brazil better figure something out, because now… USA's captain Sean is up to serve once again!"
Sean tosses the ball and exhales. 'Is this really the best I could be…? Is there any way I can break through Brazil's blocks…?' Sean jumps and plows the ball across the net. Filipe diving to bring it up, but not making it as the ball slams in the corner of the court.
USA 7-5 Brazil
"And with Sean's power serve, the USA breaks out of the neck and neck, but can they keep it??"
Sean tosses the ball. 'No matter… this is… MY VOLLEYBALL!!' Sean jumps and meteor's the ball over the net. Filipe jumped forward and brought the ball up. Sean gritting his teeth with a smirk. Diego jumping forward to set the ball as Filipe rushes standing and jumping at the net. Quickly spiking past Kurai's wall. Kurai turns as the ball spirals towards the court as Kyle appears, bringing the ball up. The arena roared as Kurai landed, instantly reaching up for the ball. Tapping it over the net. Filipe reaches out for the ball as Diego appears.
"Bruno! Middle!!" Diego underhand sets the ball to the middle of the net. Bruno rushed forward, muscles bulging as Kurai and Max appeared for the block.
"Don't take me so lightly!" Bruno swings his hand, aiming for Max's fingertips. Max instantly moves his hands out of the way of the spike. Bruno freezing. 'He moved out of the way before I could rebound!?' Max lands as the ball hits the court still
USA 7-6 Brazil.
"After an insane rally like that, Brazil is trying to keep up, but the US is still in a one point lead!"
"And now, Brazil's Matheus steps up to serve!"
Matheus tosses the ball and steeps forwarded, lightly tapping it as it floats across the net. Kyle reaches up as it rolls off his fingers. Kyle clenching his fists.
USA 7-7 Brazil.
"Brazil manages to tie the score!"
"Here comes Matheus's second serve, can the USA handle it?"
Matheus tosses the ball and steps forward. Floating the ball across the net. Kyle watched it and stepped back. Exhaling as he overhand receives the ball. Kurai sprinting past alongside Sean and Tyler. Bruno and Diego rush to block Sean as Kurai jumps into the air, spiking the ball with one blocker onto the court.
USA 8-7 Brazil.
"And an insane out of system spike by the US's setter, Kurai Vlast! That really threw Brazil out of order!"
"Definently, they were probably expecting him to fake a spike and set it instead to Sean, but no! Kurai spiked it himself!!"
A buzzer blows as the screens shift.
"And now, Team USA's coach, Coach Copley is calling for a timeout!"
