As Naruto roamed around the world, he saw war everywhere: people dying, some crying and holding their loved ones, some losing all hope and just waiting for their deaths, but everyone had one thing in common: they all hated and cursed Naruto.
'Where'd I go wrong, Kurama' Naruto asked Kurama in his mind. 'I did so much to protect them. To help them, I did everything I could possibly do to save the world from destruction, and this is the result.' Naruto was only met with silence, as Kurama himself was wondering the same thing. 'When did things start to go so horribly wrong?'
'Should I have joined the akatsuki when they came to me?' Naruto kept asking. 'Should I have done things differently.' Naruto kept wondering as he saw the end of the world.
'Hm!! Somethings wrong, Kid. I sense a few similar chakra watching over us.' Kurama said suddenly. "What do you mean?" Naruto asked.
"I sense your chakra coming from somewhere else, as well as mine and that masked Akatsuki guy." Kurama replied.
"But how's that possible?" Naruto asked. "Nobody can have the same chakra resonance, and that masked man should be dead. Unless.....?!"
"Unless they are from the past or some alternate world." Kurama finished Naruto's sentence.
"So the theory was correct. There might be different worlds and alternate realities other than this one." Naruto said they were going into sage mode to sense their chakra. "Oh! you're right. And now they are gone."
"It is possible they came here by accident, or maybe it's an application of some visual powers like the sharingan or Rinnegan." Naruto said he was coming up with different hypotheses. "But what's the point? Our world is going to explode any minute now." Naruto said, dismissing his thoughts.
"Maybe their worlds go down the same path as ours." Kurama said it hypothetically.
Naruto stopped to think about it a little, a worried frown on his face. "Well, what can we do about it anyway?"
"Well, you saw how they came to our world, so it's possible to go to theirs as well." Kurama said. "But it might be very risky for us."
"What are you going to do, brat?" Kurama asked Naruto.
"Hey, you know that I'm over 26 now. Quit calling me a brat." Naruto said it jokingly. "But yeah, if we can do it, then let's give it a try. What's theirs to lose anyway?" Naruto said, despair and regret clear on his face.
"You know, I might've read something about it in the book left behind by the Sage." Naruto said. "Let's see. Hmm... Ah! Here it is." "It's a ritual that can help us go there, but it has a major problem."
"What might that be?" Kurama asked.
"Well, it shortens our lives a lot, actually." Naruto replied
"So if we go there, we will live for 3–4 years at most." Kurama said.
"Which means that we cannot interfere ourselves." Naruto said he was coming up with a plan for how to proceed.
"How about finding the other you and telling him everything?" Kurama suggested.
"But wouldn't that interfere with their history and change it into a completely different path, which in turn will have its own fair share of risks?" Naruto said he was thinking about something.
"Hmm... Based on what I sensed in their chakra, I think you were still sealed inside me. So their history is just beginning." Naruto said he was collecting his thoughts. "What if I teach him everything you and I know?"
"Sounds like a plan." Kurama said he agreed to Naruto's plan.
"Then let's do it." Naruto said, beginning the transfer between the world's.
