Naruto's POV
Meanwhile, atop the Hokage statues, Naruto stared at the ground, tears slipping from his eyes. Hatred and sadness overwhelmed his heart as strange red chakra began leaking from his body.
"Oh! It's not your time yet, Kyūbi," the masked man said, his eyes glowing red under the single hole in his mask. Simultaneously, the red chakra was suppressed back into Naruto.
"Oh, you can do that?" the plant-like man asked the masked man.
"Only for the amount of chakra that leaked just now, and not beyond the existing seal," the masked man replied.
"So what's your answer, Naruto?" the plant-like man asked as Naruto continued to gaze at the ground.
The masked man sighed. "If you don't want to believe our words, then let me show you, Naruto."
"Well, they do say seeing is believing," the plant-like man remarked, understanding what was about to happen.
Naruto was confused by the sudden words. "What do you mean?" His voice cracked.
"I'm going to show you the consequences of the choices you've made up until now and the choice you're about to make," the masked man said, pulling out a transparent orb from his pocket.
As the orb glowed in his hand, a Sharingan symbol suddenly appeared, and Naruto started to feel dizzy before he could react.
"What did you do t...o..." Naruto tried to speak, but before he could finish, he collapsed to the ground, his mind drifting through white clouds slowly turning red.
"Was that really necessary? What if he decides to interfere with the plan later on?" the plant-like man asked.
"He won't, and if he does, we can handle it. Our goal is true peace, and one more person won't make much difference," the masked man answered.
"Now, let him witness the outcomes of his choices and decide for himself."
"And what if he refuses?" the plant-like man persisted.
"He won't. Let's prepare him for his departure," the masked man said decisively.
"If you say so," the plant-like man acquiesced, leaning over where Naruto lay, siphoning a bit of his chakra. Suddenly, a human-shaped doll started sprouting out from the plant-like man.
"This still takes a lot out of me," the plant-like man complained, while the masked man kept his gaze fixed coldly on the village.
Naruto drifted through white clouds that slowly turned red, everything fading away until he fell onto something hard. "W-Whoa! Ouch!" Naruto opened his eyes, blinking as he looked around, but what he saw made his eyes widen and his mind go blank.
"This can't be true. No way?! It's not real!" Naruto whispered in disbelief.
