"Gigna!" A man chimes in who looks identical to Igna.
"and Noyce!" A beautiful metallic-skinned lady with pink hair added.
"And you just tuned it to the IGN hot spot! Today we will be looking at the hot new game hitting every cyber café and arcade in the business Life is Plus!" The screen quickly cuts and flashes.
*bzzt*
"It's just Life Plus? Like no is?" Igna's voice asks over the static making the Tech and net runners laugh.
"We must be getting the live feed auido while everyone else is getting the live edit." Kharon says shaking his head and laughing to himself.
"Are we back on? Five count? Okay.

Life Plus! The premier in virtual gaming!" The feed returns and the three hosts reappear.
"Today you will be watching a full session of a singular long-game format for Life Plus played on Asaka's patented and exclusive at-home gaming chamber! Asaka Tech's The Dream Chamber making gaming cafés and arcades a thing of the past!" Igna pauses again for an outdated soundbite of ohs and awes to play out.
"Four hundred lucky souls will all compete at the chance of winning not only ten million bitz but the chance at having their character becoming a permanent part of the game's lore! Isn't that exciting!" Igna again pauses for a robotic splice in of cheers and hurrays from a vacant crowd.
"It sure is Igna that's not the only exciting bit do you know what else makes the beginning of this game similar but different to Life Too's Battle Royale format?" Gigna asks his twin brother Igna who shows a little on his face that he wasn't quite done with the spotlight just yet.
"No, but I'm sure our metallic heartthrob Noyce might have a clue." Igna replied a devious smirk on his face Gigna bit his lower lip in frustration at his brother's underhanded tactic to keep him off camera.
"That's right Igna what Gigna was referring to was the fact you viewers at home can join in on the fun and follow each individual player's progress also with a small donation of bitz!-

-You could aid your favorite player march toward victory!" Noyce explains with a wink to the camera and another poorly executed soundbite.
"That's right Noyce in Life Plus first round referred to as the Dark Era will consist of a thirty-minute round for the players inside it'll be a time dilated whopping nine hundred years." Igna pauses for digital gasps of surprise.
"Where each player will drop in from the sky and then choose between being Predator Or Prey!"

"Then each player will awaken to a task handed down to them by the very Gods they had chosen during character creation. Depending on the answer chosen and the Gods-picked this will lead the player to accomplish certain goals whose effects won't be known until after this mysterious Reincarnation Era added by the developers lets head over to Gigna for a map explanation now." The screen uses a side-swiping transition to reveal Gigna standing in front of the screen displaying an unfogged map of Zan.
"Welcome to the continent of Zan a marvelous and diverse island with many different biomes as you can see the island is split down the center by the UZ or Uninhabitable Zone a straight line of doom and torment where the laws of physics are not only optional but volatile at the bottom of the UZ we have the Catacombs of Erudite Madness an endless labyrinth where players who are foolish or brave enough to plunder its depths will have to contend not only with all manner of skittering beast but an environmental effect that constantly attacks their sanity. To the north of that is the lava fields a churning volcanic plain of searing hot pain and further north still a mysterious plain engulfed in a blizzard with temperatures low enough to freeze the very blood in your veins." Gigna pauses for a soundbite of teeth chattering and hard winds blowing while giving his best television host smile.
"Now lucky for the four hundred dropping in they won't be placed directly in this zone. They'll be dropping in on one of the two habitable zones on each side of the island all split into four separate biomes. On the left, a hundred will be dropped in the lower left zone which consists of a Forest, Desert, Swamp, and Grassland biomes, and a hundred for the upper left zone consisting of a Mountain, Tundra, Jungle, and Savanna biome. I'd hate to be the one landing in the jungle biome with all those bugs..." Gigna adds a thousand-yard stare taking over his face letting silence fill the airwaves.
"Uhh... Right, you are Gigna, and speaking of Right the right side of Zan is where the rest of the lucky two hundred will drop tell us about those biomes now Gigna?" Noyce chimed in trying to be helpful while Igna snickered to himself.
"What... what? What could I possibly tell you about these amazing and alluring biomes Noyce?" Gigna sprung back to life with a witty save.
"Nice save." Igna jabs
"Eat me? is what you would be thinking if you were one of the few hundred that will be dropped into Zan's aquatic biome filled to the brim with Asaka Tech developer's nightmarish leviathans and if you're lucky enough to be dropped near the coast you'll enjoy either the Shrublands or the Taiga currently in its foggy season while the rest will enjoy the Volcanic Fields curtsy of the spillover from the UZ. While the last few hundred will be dropped in Zan's most interesting zone the lower right contains biomes imagined and created by the winner of the Beta test game himself are four impossible biomes filled with uninmangibale surprises these lucky hundred if they survive will be rewarded with the rarest of Titles and Abilities. Speaking of which I believe Noyce has more information on how Titles and Gods play into this beginning round." Gigna finishes perfectly passing the attention back to Noyce leaving his brother out of it while slyly flipping him the bird.
"Of course, the Gods and Titles system works in the favor of the players but at the cost of time." Noyce pauses as a window opens near her head displaying figures on screen representing players.
"You see each and every player has the equal opportunity to experience the right events to unlock a certain Title giving them a physical or magical enhancement but it will cost time! Sense dilation technology works its magic allowing the player to quickly learn skills at the risk of losing a few days or years of battles with big beasties may take a hundred years to do but the task will be immensely rewarded with Title gain for example Dragon Slayer!"

"I know right!? Now for these mysterious Gods, there are ten Lesser and ten Celestials all passing down goals that'll please their ambiguous desires each task handed down if completed will typically reward a feat and natural ability upgrade but some Gods dealing deep within magic dark or light may unlock hidden paths for certain class augmentations later on in the game more on that when we've made it to the Reincarnation Era so stay tuned for more Life Plus IGN exclusives."
