Qiaoqiao and Qin Yize once again returned with a car full of goods. Halfway through the journey, Qiaoqiao managed to store about eighty percent of the items in the space, leaving only a few specialty gift items. Some were bought for the aunt, while others were presents for everyone back home, all of which could easily pass customs.
The couple wasn't idle either. As they drove, Qin Yize taught Qiaoqiao English.
Her memory was astounding; learning was truly effortless for her.
Qiaoqiao realized that if she were to take the college entrance exam now, she might even end up being the national top scorer.
After returning to the manor, Qiaoqiao organized her belongings, while Qin Yize went out to buy a carving knife for her.
He was somewhat heartbroken seeing Qiaoqiao so worried, but he understood that to her, even his family was her family, and this sentiment moved him.
