This wild fruit is purplish-red, resembling cherries.
Only after asking did we find out that it is indeed the unique wild cherry of this area, though it is a bit smaller than the cherries from the North. Perhaps because it grows at the mountain top where there's plenty of sunlight, it is exceptionally sweet.
Seeing that the two enjoyed eating them, Ling Nan happily ran back and picked all the ripe cherries from that tree, filling up two lunch boxes.
After finishing eating and resting for a while, the three continued on their journey.
The scenery along the way initially seemed quite novel, but after a while, it all looked almost the same.
Then, in the evening, when the magnificent sunset filled the western sky, they finally reached the Peach Blossom Valley,
however, it wasn't inside Peach Blossom Valley, but rather a mountain cave.
The cave's surroundings were covered in green vines and other plants.
