An Li was momentarily at a loss for words, unable to speak.
Coincidentally, the elevator doors opened on the floor Ye Ran was heading to, and Xiao Zhou was standing right at the entrance.
Xiao Zhou exchanged a glance with Ye Ran, then politely said, "Hello, Miss Ye."
Ye Ran merely gave Xiao Zhou a light glance before stepping out of the elevator.
After seeing Ye Ran to her room, An Li came out and started checking the elevator entrance and the fire exit, only leaving when she was sure no one was there.
When she re-entered the elevator, Xiao Zhou was surprisingly waiting inside.
Seeing it was An Li, Xiao Zhou pulled her into the elevator and asked, "Where have you been? I've been waiting in the elevator for you. What took you so long?"
An Li answered truthfully, "That actress asked me to check all the entrances to make sure there's no paparazzi or suspicious people lurking around before I could leave."
Xiao Zhou let out a sarcastic laugh and said, "You actually went?"
