Jiang Yi glanced at the number on the screen, left the living room, and walked to a quiet corner to answer.
Soon a familiar voice came through the phone: "Miss Jiang, I've found what you asked me to look into."
"Go ahead."
"The couple who adopted Zhu Shuanghua had the surname Zhu. The father was called Zhu Shikang, the mother Ji Yun. When they were young, they ran a small leather factory, but both of them have passed away now. Supposedly they didn't have any real relatives, and I couldn't dig up anything more specific."
Jiang Yi was a bit disappointed, but she quickly asked again, "Then did you find out which orphanage it was that adopted Zhu Shuanghua back then?"
"I did. It was an orphanage called Fuyuan, but that orphanage shut down a long time ago. I did manage to get in touch with an old lady who used to work in the orphanage canteen back then. I just don't know how much she knows about Zhu Shuanghua. I've already got her contact information—do you need it?"
