He Tang paid for the medication as usual and then left the hospital with Jiang Yi.
On the way back, He Tang's mood remained low.
Jiang Yi noticed her change and couldn't help but ask, "He Tang, what's wrong? You weren't like this when we came, why are you so down after seeing the doctor?"
Actually, it wasn't that Jiang Yi was overly focused on her emotions.
But rather, He Tang had been through so much lately, and she was worried about He Tang's tendency to overthink everything.
He Tang only then reacted and forced herself to smile a bit, "Nothing's wrong, I'm just fine."
Jiang Yi did not agree.
The two had grown up together, and He Tang's thoughts were always written on her face; a casual perfunctory answer wouldn't fool her.
Seeing that He Tang didn't seem willing to talk, Jiang Yi didn't press further.
The atmosphere felt a bit heavy all the way.
Time ticked by; He Tang might have figured something out on her own.
