Every player must carry a secondary profession, even if they don't necessarily train in it, but it's a must-have. Otherwise, imagine the regret when you come across some rare Spiritual Medicine or valuable ore in the wild and realize you can only watch without the means to collect it.
Among the players, alchemists, fishermen, cooks, and blacksmiths are some of the most popular secondary professions, with each player choosing two to learn.
The Fisherman profession is the easiest to specialize in, while the other three require completing prerequisite tasks in Medicine Valley, Little Bamboo House, and the Refining Sect, with further leveling also needing a return to these locations.
