Katte Martin was most afraid of getting implicated by Flynn Taylor, fearing that Lucas Hutt would take his anger out on her.
If Flynn were dumped by Lucas, it would be a pity, but she was still Lucas's old classmate. As long as she didn't infuriate Lucas, she could continue working in the company.
The premise was that Lucas would not take his anger out on her.
The next day when she went to work, Lucas called her into his office.
Katte understood Lucas's intentions, so she came clean: "I gave her the divorce agreement, but she doesn't want to sign it. I'll persuade her again. She just can't accept the fact for now. Give her some more time."
"You're a smart person, and I know that. I'll give you three days, tell her that if she doesn't sign, I'll see her in court. You can go to work now." After saying that, Lucas signaled Katte to leave the office.
Katte sighed lightly and turned to leave.
