Edward's morose expression eased somewhat.
He looked deeply at Cecelia, "A woman should eventually find a place to settle down. I hope you can let go of your prejudices and give Wayne another chance."
It's not that excellent men weren't good enough for Cecelia, but excellent men tended not to be persistent and devoted in love.
If they were to find a man Cecelia could trust for life, Wayne would be a good choice, provided Cecelia was willing to accept him.
As her brother, he could only express his most intuitive feelings.
"Brother, you should first figure out how to get Bella to marry you," Cecelia retorted.
Upon hearing this, Edward looked at Bella Scott, "That depends on Bella's wishes. My idea is, we could even get married tonight. There's no better day than today, Bella. How about we go and get the registration done tomorrow..."
Before Edward could finish, Bella Scott had already disappeared in fright.
Edward smiled helplessly, "Is marrying me really that hard to accept?"
