Bella Scott wanted to retort with an accusation of narcissism.
But interestingly, as soon as Charles finished speaking, there was suddenly a commotion from the stage area.
"As soon as I arrive, the banquet is about to start?" Charles continued to joke.
Bella's eyes sparkled slightly, and suddenly she felt as if Charles's words made some sense.
Before he arrived, the banquet kept getting postponed. But how come as soon as he arrived, the hostess appeared? This was just too coincidental.
