After a pause, Cecelia continued, "I might have followed my dad's wishes and married someone I didn't love in a family-based marriage, living my life like a walking dead. If it weren't for Tariq, I would never have found out that I'm not actually a child of the Andersons, and I would never have been able to resolve the doubts in my heart. That would have been my biggest regret."
So, she didn't regret it.
