Eventually, the result came out – Lucas Hutt's company won. However, Tina Hernandez didn't lose, as Sunrise Industries was another winning bidder.
When the result was announced, a sneer formed at the corner of Lucas's lips.
Perhaps this was all fate.
Even the heavens wanted to arrange for him and Tina to be together. He wanted to see for himself just how intimate the relationship between Tina and Robin Reade was.
Tina had no idea what Lucas was thinking. Although she knew that Lucas was a strong competitor in business, she didn't expect them to run into each other in the same project.
As she pretended not to notice Lucas and was about to leave with Robin, Lucas stopped her and laughed mockingly, "Wife, congratulations on winning."
Tina returned a fake smile, "Likewise, you won too."
It was just that, Lucas used his lover (Flynn) to get things done. He may have intended to show her who's boss. After all, he didn't personally come forward, but he still won the bidding.
