Flynn Taylor couldn't wait any longer for Lucas Hutt's reply and, feeling anxious, she decided to call him directly.
At first, Lucas didn't answer. It wasn't until the fourth call that the call finally went through.
"Why didn't you answer my calls? Is it because Miss Hernandez is with you and it's inconvenient for you to talk?" Flynn, having held in her frustration, repeatedly questioned him.
Upon hearing this, Lucas frowned.
He used to think that Flynn was sensible, but now he felt she was being overbearing.
Had she forgotten that Tina was his wife? Even if she was by his side, that would be perfectly normal.
"Lucas, why don't you speak up?" Flynn anxiously asked, unable to handle Lucas's evasive attitude.
"Tina is my wife," Lucas replied flatly.
The underlying meaning of his words being that it was only natural for Tina to be at his side.
