Wyvios would allow the clay earth to shape to clay, growing in size as much as he could to grapple the blade's hilt. He has the blade's tip curve, cracking the ice apart, as it lifts and readies to drop it down on the castle. What can be considered at first to be madness, Koina would try to interrupt by a quick chop at his neck, followed by a punch to his chest and a knee at his stomach. She knows it won't do any damage, but if it catches his attention just enough, it could hopefully stunt whatever was going on with the land bending to his whim. Alas, such reality proves to be fruitless, barely affected by the strikes, merely snaring her and twisting her arms to ensure she wouldn't operate them as it reaches towards the kingdom. Such remains of clay on the 'blade' would act as arms to reach and take the weapon necessary to release the 'Sun': Markings and inscriptions that were layered across the kingdom's walls, a tether between it and the Bunker below.
KRACC!!!
A risky attempt for Koina, as she breaks off her frozen arms and sharpened them as blades, aiming to use the ice embedded within Wyvios to dismantle the clay-like structure within him. While it was acting as his boon against the flames raised by the likes of Zazel, such fire has finally been put to rest. Dismantling the likes of Asmodeus and spreading such mist acted as a hose to douse them all, leaving him free from such devilish deeds. While this is a grand achievement, a new problem arose as soon as he sees his body swell, the clay form cracking from within like crystal. It was clear of her intentions as soon as she got close, watching as the Contract embedded within him gets exposed. Such a body has to be kept at a proper temperature, less it would destroy him once it swings on either side. Too hot would cause him to crumble and be weary. Too cold makes him brittle and vulnerable. He'd wince as he'd also take such a risk, letting the 'sheathe' break off from the 'blade' to throw both of them off, yet the Assassin still pushed. Looking to his side, he'd notice a greater problem: Stolas was charging right for those markings. Draco on his side, he was soaring across the 'blade' using it as means to increase his speed and cut through the air. There was no time for him to act, forced to choose between both sides, struggling to see what he can do to ensure his plan is a success.
Then, an idea came to his head. A Thought. A Hypothesis in regards to the straw that was kept within. He'd ball up his arms and began to punch in his chest, once more unaffected...
WHAM!!!
But to everyone else, they could feel a pain in their heart. Mawkin, so long as he lives, can keep his straw up and ensure that they take the same damage. While he remains unaffected, he can act as their straw doll, constantly punishing himself so others suffer the same injuries. Of course, that does mean having to keep Mawkin intact through it all, which would be a hassle for him to keep watch while juggling against such menaces to his land. Another idea struck in his mind, but one that he feels conflicted with. As he'd try to shift the blade back to prevent Stolas from getting any closer, he was able to overhear a conversation. "Have you ever done something for what you love? For what you believed in?" Mawkin spoke, eavesdropping over as he'd see Zazel dumbfounded whilst trying to set up Furfur to take advantage of the mist and electrocute him through it all. The Dhampir keeps his pace up, backing away and side-stepping whenever even a hint of water was present. "Day and night, my father isolates himself. He loves us a lot, make no mistake, but he can never love himself. He hates himself. He wants NOTHING out of himself! He doesn't believe he has a purpose in this world, but he's done far more than what he thinks he's done! He's a King for a reason!"
"Yeah, that's not answering the question to why HIM!? He's going to backstab you whenever he wants! He did it to Koina, right? You don't have to take HIS side! Just-" Zazel tries to seek reason, almost pleading for him to not succumb, yet Mawkin stood his ground.
"I don't care! I don't care about what he wants, or what you guys want! That's not what I meant! I want to prove that Sozo DID something! That he actually has a reason to keep living! If I can prove myself as his Son, if I can show my efforts and let people know 'Sozo has done it', if I can let him love himself in knowing he DID made an impact on the world, then I am satisfied! Wyvios is a King, make no mistake. A Tyrant, sure. A Monster, maybe. A King, however, is what he is. He can be proof! He can be that evidence! He can be the reason why I have purpose! Why HE has purpose!"
"Mawkin..."
"I'm sorry, kid. I really am, but this is what war is. We fight for our personal beliefs, and we have to do things that may or may not be liked by many people. We're soldiers at the end of the day, fighting for a purpose in our respective side. In my case, it's to make sure my father has a reason to smile, an excuse to get away from that miserable hell he's put himself in. I don't agree with his views, far from it. I think this world has so much love to give, and he hasn't reciprocated it back. There's a saying where the parent suffers more than the child, but that doesn't acknowledge the child suffering for their parent. I just want my father to be happy again, to be free. If it means resting in that void, then I'll ensure he disappears with a smile on his face. To die at peace, to have love in something that gave this world the purpose he once lost." A moving speech, but one that confirms Wyvios' decision. He could see the Demon struggling, gripping at the sigil, nearly shattering it, his form returning to normal. He has an opportunity, and all it would take is to take advantage of the 'Sun.'
A Hole was seen nearby, one that must've been from Strength. Light was being shown there.
