"Let's go."
Both words from the opponents were their signal, as Taro pushed himself back, leaping backwards and scaling himself atop of Orochi's skull, soaring up to the very sky. Adel, meanwhile, slinked his body to the far corners, shrinking and reeling his limbs back as if he was a living rocket. The Dragon took in his last breath of the match, letting the venom course through his smog as it comes out, before sucking part of it back in again, clicking his teeth so both his Claw and his Fire are weaponizable. The Serpent charges his energy as much as he could, letting Boros bite into his heart once again, sharing its energy, letting it carry across his bloodstream as he'd dart around the arena, struggling to keep himself alive any longer. the Serpent's anatomy was wicked in nature, lunging and bouncing off of the arena like a living pinball, practically flying across Orochi's skull, building his speed with each fling.
Up in the air, Taro would allow the breath weapon to blast out, coating his entire body, letting it arch and extend the Claw's reach and size, stretching it out. Adel would send himself up in the air once enough momentum was reached, reeling his own claw back, allowing the serpent to slip across his chest to his arm, infusing as much energy as it could to ensure such venom converted into power. The Audience watches in pure awe at such lights, gripping at their own seats, cheering for both sides, half of the arena now chanting Adel's name, while the other half remained determined that their king will prevail. Screeches came from both opponents, their faces contorting with the very element they are weaponizing. A face of pure glee out of both sides. Adel can see his life flashing before his eyes, watching each and every moment he was raised under that church, each student he saved, each fight he's had, each drop of blood he tasted in his mouth as he was beat to the ground by a stronger opponent. Taro's vision blurred just as much, his eyes watching and imagining the Serpent's existence, a fantasy of the Serpent being home proper, and possibly being the next king.
Such matters do not appeal anymore to their minds, their energies transforming into a Dragon and Snake respectively, their faces pulled as they reached such velocity. "SNAKE!! MAGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!!!!" Adel screamed, his muscles and tendons ripping apart as the venom solidified, a sharpened sword out of toxin left standing.
"DRAGON!!! MAGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!!!!" Taro yelled back, his roar mimicking the Dragon's wrath, as he'd began to spin, a drill out of flames as the two finally clashed.
"HY! DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"
"GO!RYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!NYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYCH!!!"
KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
An explosion that matched the very sun's light, a flashbang that extended outward from the horizon, the winds kicking loudly and nearly shoving people down to the Arena itself, holding on for dear life as the two clashed, the two visages biting into one another as their energy expanded outward. Solomon and Zazel shielded their eyes, already aware of their friend's strength, the former having to use the Codex Gigas to set up a barrier in case they get flung out. Stolas and Harvard, meanwhile, stabbed themselves into the seating and gazed up at the marvelous light, the former with his talons, the latter his bone marrow in his ankle acting as a piton. Such a spectacle burned into their eyes, as they watched it shine brighter the stronger they put their power against one another. "Awesome..." was all the two could say, as another explosion came.
The remains scattered upon the sky, launched out and falling like shooting stars, a climax for the ages, as the Announcer was desperate to try and track what happened. "WHAT A LIGHT!! WHAT A MARVELOUS LIGHT!!! WHO'S THE ONE THAT STANDS LAST!!! WHO'S THE ONE THAT FELL!? WHEN WILL THE CLASH END!?" He'd shout, as the newly made sphere would finally calm down, ash remained onto the sky, as the two descended, crashing into the stands, bouncing back into the arena. Their arms were sacrificed upon such a clash, their skin and scales ripped clean off, leaving a messy aftermath. The poison left on Taro's body finally took into effect, a green gas that escaped from his mouth. He panted heavily, his chest strained, the poison strangling his breath, yet he'd still fight it. He'd move his head up to see the remains of his opponent. His body was reduced to mere ash. A cough of his blood came out, yet a small chuckle was made, as the Human Vritra would finally relax, laying his head at the side, letting him take his rest. Right as he made peace, however...
The small piece of flesh that held a face began to contort.
Taro would be shocked, terrified even, at how it would still function. He'd turn his head once more, as he'd see something rise from the ashy remains. A new set of flesh that clawed its way out, a laughter out of his mouth as he'd lift himself up, tired, yet breathing. Wounded, yet not dead. "...Ladies and gentlemen... The winner of this bout... The winner of this match... The one to succeed in besting our King..."
"IS ADEL!!!! SERPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENS!!!!!!"
A cheer of joy and sorrow, with the boys Screaming in enthusiasm, and the two Descendants watched in just as much shock as the Vritra. The serpent merely tried to roll his body over, crawling towards Taro, and extending his hand. Taro, despite such a loss, was quick on grabbing his hand, letting him be pulled up, patting Adel on the back in praise. "Your wife would be proud, Outsider..." Another cough came from the Dragon, yet Adel merely swatted away the blood that stained him.
"She already has. I just hoped you would be..." Adel retorted, as he'd see from the corner of his eye the paramedics arriving, already having spare arms to help heal them and bring them back what they lost.
"I already have." Taro smiled as he'd finally have his rest, letting his and Adel's body be carried away for such repairs.
