"So.... How exactly did he extracted that out of his body??"
"Eh? Heck you talking about?" Harvard would turn his attention to the two boys, more specifically at Solomon who was a prime witness to his effect.
"You already saw the Shedding effect thing, but If he had to extract the Carbon out of his own body, he'd have to dig REAL deep in his own system to even launch it out as a separate weapon. The Carbon I infected him with was like... mostly making up around his skeleton and nervous system. Even if you were to spread that out evenly, you would only get half as much of the material to work with, basically half of a body. You see where I'm going with this?" Solomon's question did made the other two boys be deep in thought, before the Card Magician had an idea.
"Oh! Easy! He made himself more infected!"
"HUH!?"
"No, He's actually right..." Zazel continued, looking down at Adel as he'd see the man pull his second body back and adjust its proportions, letting the arm lengthen as he'd spin it around and aim for a haymaker, letting the Serpent slip under so that he can aim for a strike into Taro's ankles. "I saw his magic before when we fought a Bounty Hunter. He can kinda... Grow that poison out into his body. It's how his nails got sharper. I don't put it past him to set up a whole layer of skin made of Carbon and then just... expelling it out like it was waste."
"Ewwww... That would mean he'd have to tear through his own body to even release it. His skin must be really sensitive then, at that point."
"Yeah... It is." As soon as Zazel agreed, the boys can see Taro immediately adapting quick to the two fighters, grabbing ahold of the arm flying in close and curving himself, letting the Carbon body spin around before changing its trajectory, a makeshift wall to block out Adel's strike with one leg, letting the other pirouette and slam across his jaw. Adel was quick on using his arm to block, but even then, his body reacted in such a visceral manner, having him leap back like a cat, his body viscerally shaking as the light tap felt like it was drilled across his whole body. Even with such reactions, Adel pressed on, running across the dry lands of the Coliseum as he aims for a quick strike to the neck. Taro would return the body back to sender, striking at its head so that the arms swing once more, a backfist that kissed the Serpent's cheek. Such pain was overwhelming, yet the man would strike at the shell to push it back to the Dragon, letting it use its other arm to deliver a hook, before he'd throw an uppercut and grab his neck, stabbing his nails in, wincing at the pain he was forcing himself upon just to ensure his venom trails.
That was until he properly touched his blood.
His eyes widened as he could feel both its heat and its density. Even as he'd try to pull away, visible, small streaks of flames escaped from his wound. "Impressive, isn't it?" Taro would start as he'd begin to exhale his fumes once more. "Considering my personal exposure to such toxins, I ensured a personal antidote to keep my energy at its prime. High amounts of heat does wonders against such poisons." A small gloat, as he'd let the would cauterize itself as he'd back away, spreading more of his personal fumes around the flooring, blocking the audience away from any visual on what either fighter was going to do. Adel knew very well what was his intention, as he'd try to slice the gas away and bring him some proper breathing room.
He was trying to choke him out. A small puff was enough to blow up his lungs if he ever bit down on the smog.
"You're not the only one with a whack anatomy!" He'd shout, as he'd try to stick his head out of the smog, just to be met with a downwards kick from the Dragon, his skull cracking in the impact. He'd grab ahold of the Dragon's leg and pinned him straight down, a slash right at the man's eyes, blood splattering around his hand, yet Taro merely smiled. Even whilst blinded, he was willing to click his teeth and cause a chain reaction, his legs wrapped around Adel's arm and chest, as he'd regain his sight seconds later, just in time to watch another firework show happen.
KA-BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
A massive explosion that reached out from the arena, pushing everyone back with such impact, the loud sound coupled with such intense heat roaring out of the skull's jaw, burning down the area on its sides. Such an impact pushed the people back once more, yet from the top, they could see Taro, his claws sharpened, as he'd let the flames coat around, acting as a makeshift arm. It was almost like the extra appendages Harvard would cast whenever he wishes to fight in close quarters. The Human Vritra would charge up his energy into this arm, the flames burning brighter and brighter, as he'd use one of the stands to blast back down, aiming for a clean, searing strike, a slash that would've melted the skull itself in half upon contact.
Yet somehow, he struck at nothing.
The man blinked as he'd see the smog clear, looking up to see Adel, standing, yet shielding. His body extracted the Carbon out once more, his tongue flickering to sense his opponent, the Carbon acting as his new skin, a suit of armor to protect himself, as well as coughing out any remaining material to expel the gas out from his system. "Interesting! You shielded yourself internally to prevent my kill!" Taro would compliment.
"Basic logic stands that any gaseous substances shouldn't enter in one's system. Were you not taught that, Dragon man?" A cocky tone, yet Adel nearly threw himself up with how much Carbon was built into his throat.
"Not as much compared to the other humans. In Orochi, the only thing we were taught is to hunt. To fight. To conquer. Whether it is outsiders such as yourself, or our very personal battles, we conquer all of it!" His pride was as loud as his voice, a rupture of roars from the stands as his arms are wide up into the air, flaming claw in tow.
"Then I guess I better do the same. It'd be a waste of time if I don't prove myself to you that I can reach equal footing."
"You have already proven that to me the second you accepted my invitation, Outsider."
