Through these legacies Spirits came to know about these places and called them legendary places. That was the reason Carmilla was in disbelief that she was in one of the legendary places.
Spirits think that these outside people are stronger than them. But that was not actually true.

Alex then began to create thousands of clones and ordered them to clear these dungeons, Alex also sent many clones to different continents to kill some of the corrupt ministers of different empires and kingdoms, he also ordered them to kill wanted criminals that have committed crimes like ra*e, kidnapping, killing etc.
"Make the name 'Shadow' spread throughout this world" Alex said as he ordered his clones to teleport.
Alex did this because of two reasons, the first was that he wants to rescue slaves and make them join his sect. So that he can upgrade his sect and system to a higher rank.
The second reason was that he needed Anger, hate, fear and respect feelings. So that he can increase his cultivation and also gain universal coins. He can also help Carmilla increase her strength with this.
