Ye Yiheng suddenly sneezed three times in quick succession.
Leng Yu Yan quickly turned around, asking with concern, "Did you catch a cold?"
"No," he said.
He hadn't caught a cold, nor was the tip of his nose itchy; the sneezes were odd.
Leng Yu Yan reached out to tuck him in, "In the early spring, it's still important to stay warm in the morning and evening."
Ye Yiheng grabbed her small hand and placed it under the quilt, his hand holding on and not letting go.
She struggled quietly, unable to break free.
"Let me hold on to it as I sleep," he suddenly said.
"Alright," she replied.
For some reason, her heart felt a little soft.

The next day, Emperor summoned Ye Yiheng and Leng Yu Yan to the palace.
In the Imperial Study, the two of them saw the Emperor reviewing petitions.
