The Liu Family Residence
Xiaoliu, arm in arm with Chen Jiaming, walked into the entrance of her home. The butler approached and said, "The old master is in the back garden."
Naturally, the Liu Family lived in a villa.
The two of them made their way to the back garden and saw Director Liu alone, squatting at the edge of a flower bed, tending to the soil with a small iron trowel. Hearing their approach, Director Liu turned around, saw the two of them, and said, "Sit."
The butler brought over two chairs for the guests.
Xiaoliu rolled up her sleeves and poured tea for the guests.
After finishing with the soil in the flowerpot, Director Liu stood up and went to the tap to rinse his hands before returning. Coming up to Chen Jiaming, he smiled and asked, "How is everything?"
The tone was very much that of an elder showing concern for a younger one.
