'Ah, that feels good; I feel much stronger now.' Flexing my muscles with a smile, I slicked my hair back and looked in the mirror, only to feel a pair of squishy objects press against my back. "Are you ready, Alex?" Gently grabbing Jasmine's hands, I turned around and lightly kissed her head before nodding. "Yes." Putting my shirt on, I left the bathroom with Jasmine in tow as we walked down the stairs before exiting our house.
As we walked beside each other through Cassandra, I used [HeroesGaze] to keep track of the several spies following us from a distance, though while doing so, Jasmine stealthily held my hand, causing me to glance at her with a raised eyebrow. "Nervous?" "Ah, a-a little." Gently rubbing Jasmine's head with a faint smile, she leaned her head into my embrace while we headed towards the entrance of Cassandra. "Don't worry, everything will be fine." "If you say so."
Descending into silence, several minutes later, we exited Cassandra, and the instant we did, a few of the spies following us melded into the shadows and quickly headed in the direction of their base, prompting me to communicate with Trina, who would do so with Zartha, and then she'd relay the information to Yuki. After walking a certain distance from Cassandra, we headed into the forest, heading toward a specific spot I'd already prepared for the confrontation with Sash and that bastard, Chad, or whatever his name was.
"Are they coming, Alex?" "No, it'll take some time for the spies to return to their base, and they probably won't arrive until midnight." "Urgh, that's a disadvantage for us." "True, but I expected it." Gently rubbing Jasmine's shoulder, we walked for half an hour before we arrived at the specific location deep within the forest, which was a small clearing, the size of a small house, big enough to serve as a camping site.
Sitting down, I leaned against a tree while Jasmine sat on my lap. I'm sure from an outsider's perspective, she was just being intimate, and while that wasn't wrong, I knew the real reason was that she didn't want to get her clothes dirty. 'Even after this long, her habits as a Princess are still strong.' "Are we just going to wait until they arrive?" "Yeah." Nodding, I affectionately stroked Jasmine's silky golden hair while she practically melted into my embrace.
The two of us stayed just like this for several hours, only moving about when Jasmine needed to use the bathroom, leaving her greatly embarrassed. "Why are you so weird, Alex? What kind of man gets aroused from drinking that?" Watching Jasmine pull her underpants up with a bashful expression, I awkwardly chuckled and averted my gaze while wiping my mouth. "S-Sorry. I-It's just a fetish of mine; I-I also don't drink it all the time, only when I'm feeling horny." "So all the time then?"
Offering Jasmine a charming smile, she grabbed the bridge of her nose and sighed before sitting on my lap while squeezing my erection between her plump thighs. "Ha, I guess everyone has weird fetishes. Just don't expect me to kiss you before you clean your mouth. Haa, why is my husband so freaky?" Chuckling lightly, I wrapped my arms around Jasmine's waist as we waited for night to arrive, which was still a while away, considering it was afternoon.
"Once this is over, I'm going to have my way with your ass." Whispering into Jasmine's ear, she squirmed slightly before squeezing my erection, causing me to laugh. 'Ah, so cute.'

Glancing up at the night sky, I let out a deep sigh and looked over at Jasmine, who was peacefully sleeping. However, her nap was short-lived, as I soon saw two shadows moving incredibly quickly and approaching us. Quickly standing up, waking Jasmine up in the process, I pulled her onto her feet while she rubbed her eyes and yawned. "W-What's happening, Alex?" "They're coming." 'Trina, tell Zartha that Sash is with us.' 'Aye, aye, Master!'
Almost instantly, Jasmine's drowsiness vanished as her expression hardened while she stood to my left, and I summoned Trina and stabbed her into the ground. With how fast the two shadows were moving, it wasn't even a minute after I first spotted them that they arrived in the clearing. Seeing the two land opposite of us, the shadows surrounding them slowly melded into the ground, revealing Sash and Chase, with the latter wearing different armor.
"You two finally agreed to surrender?" Asked Sash with a raised eyebrow as she affectionately leaned into Chase's embrace while eyeing us, though before I could even refute, he did so in my stead. "Tch, Jasmine can surrender, but not that fucker! I'll kill him!" 'The fuck did I do? Why does he have such intense hatred for me?' Although I didn't really care that he wanted to kill me, the fact that he had such an intense hatred for me was a bit confusing; then again, I also didn't care much.
'Actually, I might be able to use this to my advantage.' Rubbing my chin with a faint smirk, I tightly gripped Trina and pulled her out from the ground before pointing her at Chase. "I, Alexander Vestalis, challenge Chase to a duel! Let the Gods be our witness!" Confidently smiling, I stepped forward while looking down at Chase, who seemed to tremble in fury from my declaration, causing Sash to calm him.
"Alex, what the hell are you doing?" "I don't know, I'm talking entirely from my ass right now. But the longer Sash stays here with us, the more beneficial it'll be for us." Whispering back to Jasmine, who was looking at me like a madman, I shifted my gaze back to Chase, who unsheathed his long sword while stepping forward with a stern expression. "I accept your duel! It won't be like last time, I'm completely different from our last encounter, even if you beg for your life, I'm not going to spare you!" 'Generic ass villain.'
Rolling my eyes at his generic words, I took his words with a grain of salt since I was doubtful much had changed in the last two weeks, but I still decided to check on his new armor just in case. 'Let's see if it's anything I should be concerned about.'
////////////////////
Name: Hero's Armor
Description: Crafted using Adamantium, Wyvern scales, a Fairy's wing, and a Gorgon's Eye, it provides a 300% increase in defense, speed, intelligence, and omnivision.
Rank: Legendary
////////////////////
While the armor wasn't anything I was worried about, it was surprising to see an armor with such a massive increase in stats, even if it were only two stats. 'The defense is pointless, I'm wielding a mythical weapon, even if his defense were ten times higher, Trina would still cut through him. His speed might be a bit of a problem. As for his intelligence, it'll make drawn-out fights annoying, and unluckily, that's my goal.'
Thankfully, with my space magic, I was confident I could keep up in terms of mobility. However, given how massively his intelligence has been enhanced, I couldn't just spam [Blink]. 'What about his sword?'
////////////////////
Name: Slayer Sword
Description: Crafted with a drop of Dragon blood and Mythril, it allows Dragon Tongue at the cost of the wielder's life-force.
Rank: Legendary
////////////////////
'Dragon's Tongue? What is that, Trina?' 'Be careful, Master. Dragon Tongue contains the laws of this world; it isn't something a mortal can resist.' Inwardly sighing at Trina's lack of critical information, I simply nodded; though, if Trina felt the need to warn me, it was most likely extremely powerful. 'However, if that's the case, the cost must also be extreme.'
"Jasmine, be a dear and start the duel." Glancing at Jasmine, who hesitantly nodded before walking to the side, I stroked my sword and infused my magic, causing the purple markings to glow, while Chase's sword was suddenly set ablaze, causing me to raise an eyebrow when I saw his reddish glowing ring.
'After this ends, I need to upgrade my armor and accessories.' Gripping Trina with both hands, Chase and I glanced at Jasmine, who raised her hand. "Begin!"
Instantly, I filled my body with mana along with using [Strength Augment], [Speed Augment], [Wind Steps], and [Lightning Cloak], along with [Mana Enhancement] on my armor, massively increasing my agility and strength and increasing my defense. Lunging towards Chase, who ran wildly right for me, I enveloped Trina with flames, which I strengthened with my wind, causing them to change colors from red to orange. "Die!" Thanks to Chase's insane armor, he arrived near me first and slashed with his sword, forcing me onto the defense as I deflected his slash, causing me to lightly smile.
'All those training sessions with Vanye weren't a waste.' Pushing Chase's blade to the side, I stepped forward and slashed at his torso, though before my blade could make contact, he suddenly appeared behind me. 'Blink? Tsk, must've been one of his many accessories.' Clicking my tongue, I used my own mana to instantly cast [Blink] as I dodged Chase's attack and appeared a distance away from him. 'Why does he feel like a pay-to-win player in an MMO?'
