Chapter 19 - The Beginning Of Something

Blake directly pushed Vasha away.

Blake could only observe Vasha through his life and death energy perception, which could only show the silhouette of the life forms around him.

Moreover, he was too close to Vasha, even knowing her move, he couldn't dodge in time.

"I won't fall for your trickery," Blake said displeased.

"You jerk, it wasn't any trickery. Why would I low myself to use it to trick you?" Vasha replied even more displeased.

Blake still wasn't convinced and kept his eyes closed.

"What is it, you don't think I'm enough for you?" Vasha asked breaking the silence.

"I never said that." Blake quickly replied.

"So, trust me this once and open your eyes."

After those words, Blake got even more suspicious.

However, even though he just looked at her for a minute when they met before, he thought that she was by far the most beautiful of the five.

Therefore, his head started to really consider opening his eyes.

'It looks too good to be true...

But what if it is and I lose my opportunity?

If I really open, the worst-case scenario would be to wake up at the castle hall. She can't kill me.

But I may lose the opportunity to win over them and convince them to join our alliance.

On the other hand, they said that my hobgoblins were at the same place I left them, hence since I can locate them through my spiritual energy. I can more or less understand where we are.

Then, I just have to come back and do the same as I did if the worst happen.

It's decided, I will open.'

During all this thinking, Blake kept his poker face to the outside. So, Vasha couldn't tell what he was thinking.

Therefore, just before Blake opened his eyes, Vasha said imposingly:

"I will join your alliance."

Blake then opened his eyes and saw Vasha red as a tomato, even sweating a little.

He then took another look at her hazel eyes, her dark long hair, her smooth skin, and her extremely beautiful facial features.

When Vasha saw Blake open his eyes, her heart started to beat as fast as it was before.

She couldn't stop looking at Blake's dark eyes, dark hair, and mainly his lips.

Blake then said:

"How did you know I wanted to recruit you to our alliance?"

Vasha smiled and answered:

"We can talk about that later."

Vasha then took a step forward to get near Blake.

But Blake took half a step back saying:

"I'm not into casual relationships."

Then Vasha took another step forward, getting even closer while saying:

"That's good because I don't want a casual relationship with you."

Blake then put his last guard down and kissed Vasha, while embracing her in his arms.

...

Around two hours later, Blake was laying down on a leaves bed much better made, and much more comfortable than the one on the alliance's camp.

Beside him, was Vasha with her head laying on his chess.

They were in Vasha's room, the one after the hall in the girls' cave.

"So, will you tell me now how did you know I wanted to recruit you girls?" Blake asked casually.

"Oh, about that... hmmm... how can I explain?

I and my sisters kind of attacked your alliance camp when searching for you, and they told us that" Vasha said embarrassingly.

"Fair enough."

"Aren't you angry we attacked your alliance?"

"no, no, no. You misunderstood. You attacked OUR alliance."

Vasha got even more embarrassed because at that time she even laughed at the idea of them recruiting her.

"Ok, besides that, can you tell me how you passed my spiritual energy barrier without me even noticing?" Blake asked the question he was most curious about.

"When?"

"When you used your mind controlling skill."

"oh, that thing? It's mana. If you don't use mana you will need a huge amount of spiritual energy to block it. Much more than you have."

"Mana?" Blake was shocked.

"Yhea, didn't you figure its existence out yet?" Vasha said in a mocking tone.

"Nope, I think I was too focused on undead energy that I forgot the basics," Blake said a bit sad for his stupidity.

"That's just normal, I can help you develop the "mana perception" skill later, but right now I just want to stay in this position a little bit more," Vasha said string to tear Blake up.

"Sure, thank you Vasha."

At this moment, two people could be heard entering the cave, while talking.

"I'm telling you Aurora, that dude is just too coward. Instead of fighting head on, he got scared and sent his little mosquitoes.

Come on! I hate him so much!" Mallory was saying it in a voice full of annoyance.

"Exactly! Besides, those mosquitoes didn't have life energy. They were just too strong. That's cheating." Aurora replied with her voice filled with annoyance.

Inside Vasha's room.

"It seems my sisters don't like you," Vasha said in a joyful tone.

"I will beat them later until they start liking," Blake also said in a joyful tone.

The two stayed there for another hour while the two girls were outside with no idea Blake was hearing all their conversation.

After this hour, the other two girls also found their way back to the cavern and arrived.

When Vasha noticed that all of the girls had come back to the cave, she decide to go out of her room to greet them.

"I also hate him! I was trying to find a way to poison those hobgoblin when, suddenly, they attacked me.

I was hit so hard that my face was deformed. Thankfully, those self-proclaimed gods could cure it." Tansy said in annoyance.

Then, the door of Vasha's room opened and Vasha got out of the room.

All the sisters got surprised. Tansy even said.

"So, that demon didn't hurt? Thank God you are ok, I was worried since you didn't arrive yet."

"Me too, me and Mallory were waiting for a whole hour here in the hall, and you were just sleeping?" Aurora said sarcastically.

However, to even more surprise for them, Blake got out of Vasha's room just after Vasha.

"No God, I withdraw my gratitude," Tansy muttered in shock.

"I know we all had a bad start with Blake, but now we are into something. So you all should get along together." Vasha broke the awkward silence.

"Something? With him?" Mallory said confused.

"Exactly. Moreover, I joined his alliance. I would be very happy if you all could join too." Vasha said in a firm tone.

"I'm in! Let's go to that alliance. It sounds fun," Chiki said without excitation.

"You are right, that really sounds fun. I'm also in," Mallory said firmly.

"What is happening to all of you? Mallory, didn't you hate him the most?" Aurora said confused.

"But Vasha trusts him enough to date him, that's enough for me to trust him too. If Vasha says he is not a bad guy, he is not a bad guy." Mallory replied calmly.

"You are right, I almost forgot it. I'm also in." Aurora said helplessly.

"I guess I'm also in since I don't want to be left behind," Tansy said.

"So, it is settled, let's go there. They should already be back there after our attack." Vasha said.

...

The sky was starting to get dark when they arrived at the alliance's camp.

It took them so much because the girls insisted on Blake transforming a jaguar for each of them to use as a mount.

The group arrived, with Blake mounted in his tiger with Vasha on his lap, the other girls close behind mounted on a jaguar each, and the group of thirty hobgoblins behind them.

When they arrived, Joe was the first to see them coming and was awestruck. He couldn't believe it.

The Demoness Queen, probably the person most fearsome among all the people that came from the simulation, was sitting on his friend's lap while hugging him.

It is not that his friend did the impossible.

He simply spat on this concept and did it in just some hours.

He definitely is a Demon King.
