Lightshard couldn't help feeling restless inside her sanctuary with the weight of Shadowheart's presence pressing down on her. The closer he was the more pressure she felt on her Draken soul making that much harder for her to rest. After shifting for what seemed like the one hundredth time she hears Shadowspark's voice saying, "can't sleep, can you?"
"Not a wink." Said Lightshard picking herself up into a sitting position and looking around not seeing Shadowspark anywhere. "I see you're still in the waking world."
"Yep." Said Shadowspark with an air of smugness in her voice clearly enjoying her time in human form. "There's not much to do, but I figured I might as well enjoy being in control while I can. So what has you so worried about this Shadowheart."
Lightshard sighs and says, "it's just that, the last time I saw him I was trapped in a Holding Tank. After he left the room I decided to get some rest. However, I was unable to enter the Realm of Dreams. Because of that my consciousness jumped to the Sun Shard I'd managed to snatch from his horn ring. I wasn't able to keep it from falling back into their hands. If they get their hands on it again I'm afraid I'll never get it back. Plus, he's clearly using the other shard to track me."
"I might be able to help with both of those problems." Said Shadowspark before suddenly appearing behind Lightshard and grabbing her by her main Spines. Lightshard shrieks from the pain that follows as Shadowspark pins her down. Shadowspark then touches each one of her spines following her back and tail before grabbing hold of her tail tips. Shadowspark then hops off of her causing her to whirl around to confront Shadowspark. However, before she could say anything she saw strings of Nova Energy in Shadowspark's clawed hands. "These are soul tethers. Once I attach them to your Sun Soul you'll never have to worry about losing it again. I only really need to attach one, but I figured that you'll need to do the same to any other Sun Shards you find. After I attach these Soul Tethers you should be able to remove them from the Shard individually. After that you can attach them to the other shards as you get them." Shadowspark attaches the Soul Tethers to the Sunstone Pillar, and rubs her hands together as if trying to get something off. "Now when you Soul Walk you can pull your Sun Shard back to you without worry."
Lightshard catches a glimpse of Shadowspark's palms and notices that it's a little discolored causing her to say, "your hands." Shadowspark stops and tries to hide her hands from Lightshard clearly hoping that she didn't see the discoloration. "You burnt them on my spines, didn't you?" Lightshard gestured for Shadowspark to follow her before running off along the mountain cliffside and into a cave. "I found this cave after you awakened. It wasn't here before then so I decided to explore it. The deeper I traveled the colder it got. I think this is where your nest was meant to be." They get to an icy Cavern with a Purple Crystal Pillar at the heart of it that seemed to call out to Shadowspark. She slowly approaches the pillar, but Lightshard stops and shudders, not wanting to get any closer then she already was. Shadowspark as she approached it she gradually picked up the pace until she was running to it. She then links her spines to it so that she could find it easier, but as she did Lightshard felt herself drop. The weight on Lightshard's shoulders from Shadowheart's presence had become too much for her, and the chill from the Void Crystal only made it worse. So when Shadowspark turned around and saw Lightshard lying on the ground she rushed over. Biting her lip she pulls Lightshard onto her back and hurries out of the cave heading for the Nova Crystal. Once she was at the Nova Crystal she set Lightshard down up against it and watched for a bit hoping that she'd recover. Unable to stand the waiting she jumps to the waking world, but Lightshard mentally follows.
Just as Shadowspark woke up she saw Shadowheart walk into the room as he demanded, "tell me where the Sun Scale is. I know she's here somewhere. Now where is she?" He begins to trash the room and inadvertently lets Shadowspark out of the Containment Pod. With the Containment Pod now open and Shadowheart thrashing about she spots the golden Sun Shard set in his other horn ring. This gave Shadowspark an idea, and using her quick reflexes she leaps out of the Containment Pod toward him. She grabs a hold of his left horn using it to slide past him and pops the shard from it before letting go. She then takes off out the door before he realizes what happened and runs trying to get as far away from him as possible. Shadowheart pursues her but she uses her void step ability allowing her to slip through spaces that Tabbitha never dreamed possible.
Shadowspark managed to get away from him and into an area where he couldn't follow and thought, don't worry Sunheart. If I'm right, you'll be back on your feet in no time. I just need to get this to you somehow. She settles in and quickly enters the Realm of Dreams and removes one of the Soul Tethers from the Nova Crystal. Holding the Soul Tether in the same hand that she's holding the Sun Shard in she jumps back to the Waking World. Clinging tightly to the Soul Tether she opens her hand hoping that the idea she had worked the way she wanted it to. Sure enough the moment she opened her hand she watched the Sun Shard dart from it and through her Heart Scale. She grasped her chest at the sudden jolt of pain and fell over trying to get her senses back. She jumps back into the Realm of Dreams to check on Lightshard whos color had darkened to more of an orange. Seeing that there was now a second Nova Crystal, Shadowspark retrieved all but one of the Tethers from the first and moved them to the second one. She then moved Lightshard beneath the second Nova Crystal so that she could better soak in it's warmth. "I've done everything I can for you at this moment of time. Hopefully it'll warm you up and renew your strength.
Lightshard shifts a little snuggling up to the Nova Crystal and says, "Thank you, Nebula. It feels really nice here. So warm."
Shadowspark smiles a little and says, "rest, Sunheart. You're going to need all the strength you can get."
"Would you do something for me?" Asked Lightshard, looking right at Shadowspark with her exhausted golden eyes.
"What?" Asked Shadowspark, sitting down hoping that she wasn't making a last request. "Tell me, and I'll see what I can do."
"Save my Friends." Said Lightshard, tapping the Nova Crystal and revealing that a battle was taking place. She'd linked her sight to that of Shadowheart in that moment to see what he was up to and was hoping that her friends were alright. "See? He'll stop at nothing to have me in his claws again."
"He's obsessed with you." Shadowspark said standing up and getting ready to return to the Waking World once more. "Alright. I'll do what I can, but only for you. Not a word about any of this to anyone. I don't want anyone thinking I'm just a big Softy. Soak up as much of that Nova Energy as you can while I'm out." After she left to the Waking World Lightshard returned her attention to what Shadowheart was doing. The battle raged on around him, none of them were really a match for him. Not even Starlight who was a drake herself, nor Floria who knew everything there is to know about the Draken people. Many of her friends were already down trying to get back in the fight. Yoshi Swiftpaw lay in a corner trying to pick himself back up. Rossa was tending to Jonathan Teufelshund who was unable to move and was even fighting for air. Andrew Direhide, and Trevor Mathews weren't faring much better, both covered in severe burns, but they were still on their feet. Amber Foxhide was crumpled on the floor with numerous broken bones. Victor Neko didn't look like he'd been touched, but despite his best effort he couldn't get a single hit on the massive black Drake. Tinami Deathlight, as determined as she was, couldn't keep up, and her magical flames did nothing to Shadowheart.
"Hang in there guys." Lightshard told her team, hoping that they could hear her as they fought. "Help is on the way."
"Hey, Charcoal Face!" Called Shadowspark as she enters the room and stands there with her arms crossed. "I have news for your black butt!" Shadowheart whips around and is in front of her in seconds, but stops when he hears what she says next. "Even if you get your precious Sun Scale she'll die before you get her home. So take your damn crew and get out of here so she can get the rest she desperately needs."
Shadowheart roars in Shadowspark's face, but she doesn't back down or flinch, and then he says, "fine, but remember this. The next time we meet you won't be so lucky. I'll tear all of you apart until I get my Sun Scale." He and his crew depart shortly after and Lightshard switches her sight to Shadowspark as she checks to see what the damage was. The first one that she checks on was Amber Foxhide clearly feeling some sort of kinship with the Noctuptera. "Hey Jewel, I think Lady Bat's in trouble!" Starlight ran over to Amber Foxhide and healed her wounds while Shadowspark reset all the bones. Shadowspark showed no remorse for the pain that Amber Foxhide was in, but did try to avoid making things worse. "After this I'm going to check on the cat."
"Why not just call him by his name?" Asked Starlight as she gives Amber Foxhide a potion to help with the pain that she was going through.
"What?" Said Shadowspark clearly trying to sound like she was hurt by what Starlight had said to her. "Oh come on. I've got to have a little fun." Starlight gave her a disapproving, motherly look which made her very uncomfortable. "Ok fine, but don't expect me to like it. Do you look at Sunheart in that tone of scowl? Forget I asked." Once all the bones were set, Shadowspark hurried over to Yoshi Swiftpaw to see how bad his condition was. "Hey Yoshi. Blech, I already hate that I said it. Anyway, how are you feeling? Is anything broken?"
"How would I know?" Yoshi Swiftpaw asked, glaring at Shadowspark as he continued his attempts to get up. "I'm not a medic."
"Well, neither am I." Shadowspark retorted, half snarling at Yoshi Swiftpaw for making such a comment. "Give me a break. I'm just trying to help."
"I've got him, Nebula." Said Floria as she began to examine Yoshi Swiftpaw to see how bad his injuries were. "Just relax for a bit. I want to have a look at you and Shard anyway."
"Whatever." Said Shadowspark, sounding a little irritated by everything that's happened so far, but clearly not wanting to talk about it. She looked around the room for a good spot to relax, clearly feeling a little uncomfortable.
"So, where's Tabby Katt?" Yoshi Swiftpaw asked as Floria treated his condition, and Shadowspark practically jumped at the question. "Why are you here and not her?"
"Oh, um…" Shadowspark didn't really know what to say, and was obviously nervous about something. "Sunheart's kind of i-indisposed at the moment."
"What do you mean she's indisposed?" Tinami Deathlight said as she landed nearby, surprising Shadowspark causing her to back away.
"And what happened to your back?" Victor Neko asked, catching hold of one of Shadowspark's Crystal Spines causing a searing pain to rush through her.
"GET OFF ME!" Roared Shadowspark as she threw Victor Neko several feet using her Void Energy only to drop to one knee a moment after. Starlight catches Victor Neko, setting him gently on the ground while Floria gets a good look at Shadowspark's back. "Let's just say things went from bad to worse really fast."
"Star!" Called Floria with a tone of urgency in her voice alerting everyone that something was very wrong. "Shadowspark's suffering from Nova Burns. Which means you need to check on your sister immediately."
"Yes, Master Floria." Replied Starlight before finding a secluded spot and curling up so she can enter the Realm of Dreams.
"I'm going too." Said Shadowspark as she rises to her feet and starts toward the location Starlight had chosen.
"No." Floria said as she grabbed all four of Shadowspark's spines with her vines causing Shadowspark to cry out in pain, and drop to her hands and knees. "You, my dear Void Scale, are staying with me until I've treated your burns." Try as she might, Shadowspark couldn't move an inch as tears streamed down her face from the sheer pain she felt.
"Let go, please." Shadowspark pleaded, making it obvious that she was completely helpless against Floria in that one moment. "I promise I won't go anywhere."
"Good." Floria said as she released Shadowspark and collected all the Draken tears, putting them in a bottle for later. Floria then brought out a salve and began to rub it into Shadowspark's Nova Burned scales and Crystal Spines.
Lightshard hears Starlight's approach and lets the images in the crystal fade saying, "I'm over here, Jewel. I'm glad everyone made it out of that alive."
"As am I Shard." Replies Starlight settling down next to Lightshard to get a better look at her condition. "Your belly is severely Void Burned. What happened?" Lightshard told Starlight everything that had happened since she'd returned to the Containment Pod. "I must thank you for saving our sister, Nebula. I'll return soon, my dear sister."
"Ok." Lightshard said hugging the Nova Crystal as much as possible as Starlight returns to the Waking World.
The images in the Crystal return and Lightshard watches as Floria asks, "how's Lightshard faring? I'm just about done treating Shadowspark's burns."
Walking over to Floria, Starlight says, "the good news is her condition isn't as life threatening as we feared. For that we have Nebula to thank." Floria shifts her head slightly, clearly waiting for the bad news that often follows. "Yes, Master Floria, there is bad news. The Void Burns on her belly are much worse then we expected. On top of that she's gotten so weak that even the smallest illness could potentially kill her."
"Sounds like she needs a cleanroom." Rossa said walking over after finishing up with Jonathan Teufelshund. "The Containment Pod could easily be used as one once it's repaired. Any Lussari can get in and out of there without introducing harmful contaminants. We would just need the settings to meet the requirements."
"So I'll be spending even more time inside that thing?" Shadowspark said with a hint of exasperation at the thought, looking to Starlight, and Floria hoping they had a better plan.
"It could be worse." Floria said, giving Shadowspark a nudge with her silky leaf covered snout after finishing the treatment. "You could be in that holding tank with those Pirates."
"I'd rather tear off my spines then go back there." Shadowspark said, rising to her feet looking very adamant about her statement. "Sunheart can't sleep on that planet. So the moment we get there she'll wake up. When she does I'll be trapped in the Dream Realm again." She sighs and hunches over with her hand over her face trying to hide the look of horror on it. "Only thing worse then that would be if she Soul Walks while we're in the tank. There'd be no way for me to surface without either of us getting burned in the process. It would be a nightmare."
"So?" Rossa said, waiting for Shadowspark to finish what she was saying and just accept the more pleasant option.
"I'll get in the damn pod." Shadowspark growled, with a bit of an irritated pout as she moves her hand away from her face. "I'll even go as far as helping you repair it. Might even be able to give it a few upgrades in the process." Everyone that needed it was moved to the Medical Bay of the ship, while everyone else got to work repairing the Containment Pod. Floria, Starlight, and Shadowspark also used their knowledge of Draken Technology to make it even better then before. Once repairs were complete the Containment Pod was set up for preventing contaminants from entering it.
Shadowspark climbs into the upgraded Containment Pod and lays down on the bed saying, "I really do hope Sunheart recovers. Her and Jewel are the closest I have to sisters." Once she was settled an energy field forms around her pushing out anything that would be harmful to them. They watch as the energy at the edges condenses and solidifies forming a barrier.
"There we go." Floria said with a large grin once the barrier had finished solidifying. "Now nothing harmful to Lightshard can enter the pod, and no Void Toxin will be able to escape it. You don't need to worry, Nebula. I'll take good care of your ailing sister. I promise."
"Thank you, Lady Floria." Shadowspark said before she enters the Realm of Dreams and runs over to Lightshard to check on her. "Sunheart? I know how very weak you are, but you really need to wake up. Everyone's waiting for you."
"I can't." Lightshard said letting the images on the crystal fade as she lay there listening to what Shadowspark was saying.
"I know you promised this time to me, but you're sick." Shadowspark said sitting down nearby not wanting to get too close since she was already feeling the warmth from the crystal. "You need them to care for you. I can't do it. I'd only cause you more harm."
"You're not going to let this go, are you?" Lightshard said, shifting her weight a little to look at Shadowspark who nods at the question. She Shifts some more and attempts to pick herself up from the ground, wobbling a little at first before leaning on the Crystal for stability. "I don't have very much energy, but I can try."
"You won't need much energy when you're awake." Said Shadowspark wanting very much to help her but knowing that was a bad idea.
"You're very insistent." Said Lightshard with a slight smile causing Shadowspark to chuckle a little.
"I was able to convince Shadowheart to leave the ship and its crew alone." Said Shadowspark still trying to convince Lightshard that going to the Waking World wouldn't break her promise. "I promise that waking up now would be a perfectly acceptable exception. However, if you really feel like you'd be breaking your promise, then you could always give me a little extra time. You know, as compensation. Would that make you feel better?" Lightshard nods in agreement, making them both laugh for a moment before she heads to the Waking World.
Tabbitha Katt slowly opens her eyes and hears Victor Neko say, "Well, good morning Bright Eyes. We've all been worried about you." Some of Floria's vine had entered the Barrier and were rubbing a soothing salve into her Void Burned scales.
"Please, Neko." Tabbitha Katt said, turning her head to look at Victor Neko still looking weak from her ordeal. "Stop calling me Bright Eyes already."
"Would you rather I call you Lady?" Asked Victor Neko with a slight smile clearly trying to keep her talking to him while Floria worked.
"That's worse, Neko." Tabbitha Katt protested looking up at the ceiling after Victor Neko asked that question. "Deathlight and Swiftpaw are the Nobles, not me."
"You'd be surprised, little Spark." Said Floria as she applies adhesive bandages to the affected areas to keep the salve from being rubbed off. "Every Draken tribe has a rare variant which is usually picked out specifically to lead. Meaning, if you were living in a Draken society you would be considered a Princess, and most likely the next Queen. Due to how rare and powerful Sun Drakes are."
"What?" Tabbitha Katt said in surprise, looking at Floria as she propped herself up for a moment before laying back down to ease the pain. "Please tell me you're joking about that. I really don't want to be Queen. I'd much rather be hunting Pirates."
"So Huntress Katt is really a Draken Princess." Victor Neko thought out loud with a smile on his face over the news.
"Neko, no." Tabbitha Katt said shifting as she tried to get into a sitting position holding her sensitive belly. "Don't you start with that."
"Whatever you say, Princess." Said Victor Neko with a slight bow causing Tabbitha Katt to cover her eyes with one hand as a slight blush appears in her cheeks.
"Neko, please don't call me that." Tabbitha Katt said truly embarrassed about the strange turn of events and was really hoping that it would end soon.
"Wait." Said Trevor Mathews as he walked into the room to a rather red faced Tabbitha trying desperately to hide her face. "What's happening?"
Victor Neko gives Trevor Mathews a punch in the arm and says, "turns out Tabbitha Katt is a Draken Princess. Floria pretty much said so herself."
"A real Princess under our noses this whole time?" Said Trevor Mathews with a grin after hearing the news about Tabbitha's heritage.
"Oh come on Mathews." Said Tabbitha Katt not quite believing her ears, but hoping that she could defuse the situation. "Not you too. Floria please tell them that you were joking about me being a princess."
Tabbitha Katt sees Yoshi Swiftpaw walking in moments before Floria says, "I never joke about Draken Lineage. I'm sorry Sun Spark."
"Wait." Said Yoshi Swiftpaw, a little confused by what he'd just overheard about Tabbitha Katt's Draken lineage. "Tabby Katt, you're a Princess?"
Oh, Great Draken Mother, please tell me this is just a bad dream. Tabbitha Katt thought feeling more then just a little overwhelmed by what was happening in that moment.
Sorry Tabby Katt. Thought Yoshi Swiftpaw, causing Tabbitha Katt's heart to race as she realizes what this could mean for her. You're not dreaming.
"Honestly Yoshi, I just found out about it myself." Explained Tabbitha Katt not really sure what more to say on the subject as she begins to feel nauseous from the stress. "So, please don't be mad." She put a hand over her mouth for a moment feeling as if she were about to throw up. "I don't feel well."
"Here." Floria said pouring a warm liquid into a cup and placing it into the Meal Compartment for Tabbitha Katt. "Drink this. It should help you feel better."
"Thanks, Floria." Tabbitha Katt said as she took the cup out of the compartment and took a drink of the liquid. "The Counsel already knows I'm a drake. If they find out I'm royalty on top of that they could take me off the hunt entirely. I love being a Pirate Hunter. What am I going to do?" Tears escape and run down her cheeks as she drinks more of the strange, warm liquid inside the cup. "The only Drakes that know I even exist, other then family, are those damn Pirates. Most of which want me dead because I'm only a half form. What's worse is I'm not even powerful enough to defeat Pirate Lord Shadowheart, and he's been hunting me since I met him." By the time the last of the liquid was gone Tabbitha had completely broken down, unable to hold back the tears. "How, in the whole of the Annaverse, am I a Draken Princess? Ever since I met that Black drake everything seems to just keep getting worse."
"Relax, Princess." Said Victor Neko trying to reassure and help Tabbitha Katt pull herself back together. "We won't tell the Council that your a princess, but that's not going to stop me from calling you that from time to time." She chuckles and shakes her head a moment before noticing that Floria was collecting her tears.
"Floria." Tabbitha Katt said looking at the Draken shaped Lussari wanting to understand what she was doing. "Why are you collecting my tears? What do you need them for anyway?"
Floria smiles pleasantly and says, "Draken tears each have unique traits depending on what type they come from. They're used to either create or enhance a variety of remedies and potions. The tears of a drake in their prime are the most potent of all." She holds up the vial that held Tabbitha's tears in such a way to show that they had a slight glow. "Yours on the other hand barely have any strength to them. So I've been collecting them to gauge both your health and growth as a drake. After all, you're very young for a drake."
"Please, don't remind me." Tabbitha Katt said with a sigh as she laid back down on the bed to save what strength she had. "I have 16 years before I'm considered 'of Age' as Drakes go."
"Hold on." Said Victor Neko, wanting a little more clarification on the subject of Tabbitha Katt's age. "You're already 19, right?"
"Yes, but Drakes aren't considered to be adults until the age of 35." Tabbitha Katt said, shuddering at the thought of what being an adult could mean for her given her circumstances. "Albeit I'll only be a young adult, but… Can we change the subject? Last thing I need is Nightmares."
"Why would that give you nightmares?" Asked Andrew Direhide as he walked into the room, not all that sure what the conversation was about.
"Think about it." Tabbitha Katt said before counting her experiences so far in her life to give everyone a little perspective. "Of all the drakes I've met so far, three of them are males. One of them wants to kill me because I'm a Half Form. One just wants to study me for who knows what reason. The last one is powerful, aggressive, and infatuated with me to the point of hunting me down. Now. You tell me why the very subject of my age would give me Nightmares? Just the thought of what he'd do to me if I were already of age… No, I'm not looking forward to that birthday."
"I see your point." Said Victor Neko before whispering something to Trevor Mathews who nods and leaves the room. "But there's still time before you reach that age. So what do you plan on doing once you're well enough to get out of this pod?"
"First thing I'm going to do is train." Said Tabbitha Katt with a smile more then happy to be on a different topic of conversation. "I'm going to need to sharpen my skills, and see how much stronger I am now that I have a second Sun Shard. However, I promised Nebula that she can have full control of this body until I'm fully recovered. I plan on keeping that promise."
"Then she insisted you wake up." Said Floria as she retrieves the cup that Tabbitha had been drinking from with one of her vines. "Would you like some more, Spark?"
"Yes please." Said Tabbitha Katt as she sat back up, propping herself up against the wall of the Containment Pod. "Although in return I'll be giving her more time to make up for the time I'm receiving treatment." Floria refills Tabbitha's cup and returns it to the compartment so that she can grab it, but as she did Tabbitha saw her drop a Sun Berry into the cup. Tabbitha takes the cup and looks in at the berry bobbing in the liquid before sinking beneath the surface and disappearing. "What is this stuff?"
Floria chuckles a little and says, "that, my dear Sun Spark, is Star Mint Tea. My collection of seeds is one of the few things I was able to bring with me from home."
Home? Tabbitha Katt thought, realizing at that very moment just how precious what she was drinking really is. "You mean Drakose?" The one place I'll never see in this lifetime. She couldn't help closing her eyes, causing a tear to fall into her cup, and the glow that followed took everyone's breath away. She opened her eyes after hearing the tear land in the tea and saw it ripple in a rainbow of colors for a moment. After that there was a beautiful sky blue glow in the cup which made her smile, and caused Floria to chuckle a little.
"Drink up, Spark." Said Floria, causing Tabbitha to look up at her for a moment before taking a drink from the cup. Tabbitha feels a rush of energy that ripples across her scales causing her to take a sudden deep breath from the sinsation.
"Wow." Said Tabbitha not really sure how else to put it as she looks around and sees that everything looks different. After a few moments her sight returns to normal and she chuckles a little still feeling that rush of energy inside of her. "That was… Amazing. I've never felt anything like it."
"You felt strong enough to take on Shadowheart." Said Floria with the biggest grin Tabbitha's ever seen and gestures for the cup back even though there was still more tea in it. "Am I right?" Tabbitha nods and puts the cup in the compartment, but all Floria does is collect some in a bottle. "I'll leave it there for you to drink with your meal. Afterward you should get some rest."
"Thank you, Floria." Tabbitha Katt said with a slight bow to Floria as a show of both respect and gratitude for everything that she's done. "I will, but I think I'll save some food for Nebula. I'm sure she'll enjoy that." Starlight walks in the room carrying a Lunch Pail in her mouth and everyone starts leaving the room.
"I'll see you later Tabby Katt." Said Yoshi Swiftpaw when he leaves as Starlight walks it over to the Containment Pod. She then sets it down, unfolds it and removes the tray of food as Tabbitha Katt grabs the cup of tea from the compartment.
Starlight sets the tray into the compartment from her side and says, "eat up, Shard. It's the best way to get your strength back. You'll need it for future hunts."
"Thanks Jewel." Tabbitha Katt said as she slipped the cup in beside the tray of food before taking a sun berry from it and popping it into her mouth. She does this with almost everything on the plate leaving enough of each item for Nebula to try. The Sun Berries were the only exception because they were made using her own energy. So by the time she was done eating they were all gone along with the tea that she'd been drinking.
"Aren't you going to finish your meal?" Asked Starlight looking over the plate at what was left over not wanting to leave until it was all gone.
"Actually I was thinking that Nebula might like to try some of this." Said Tabbitha Katt as she relaxed for a bit after her meal, still feeling the rush of energy that tea had given her. "After all, she and I are sharing the same body."
"I understand Shard." Said Starlight as she settles in wanting to make sure that Tabbitha is safe from harm. "I'll wait here while you wake her."
Lightshard enters the Dream Realm and calls out saying, "Nebula! It's your turn! I left some food on the tray for you!"
"Wait." Said Shadowspark as she pulled herself out of the large hole that she'd dug in the Lava Rock. "You saved food for me?"
"Of course." Said Lightshard as she walks over to her bed between the Sun Shards so that she can get some rest. "We may share the same body, but I figured that you might want something to eat too. My burns have already been treated, and I'm already feeling much better. So I'm going to get some rest. I want to be sure I'm at my best before I start training again."
Shadowspark chuckles a little and says, "whatever. Rest well, Sunheart. I don't want you to rush your recovery. After all, the more rest you get the longer I get to be awake." She disappears to the waking world soon after not wanting to give Lightshard time to change her mind. Lightshard on the other hand shakes her head with a chuckle and curls up to get some rest.
