Bang!
"Grawwwr! Grawwwr!"
The Bugbear screamed repeatedly at the slippery bug that kept running away, but to no avail. There were many times when it felt like it would finally hit the bug, yet it still came unscathed every time.
"Grawwwr!"
On the other hand, the bug didn't suffer from the same problem. Every time the Bugbear suffered some delay in making his next move, the bug made sure to sting him with all it had before escaping again.
At one point, the Bugbear even attempted to fake this delay in order to catch the bug, but it was too cautious. It somehow managed to avoid every single trap the Bugbear laid.
Of course, a predator like the Bugbear would never give up his prey. It kept on going on in hope of catching the bug once it was out of breath. However…
Thud!
While the bug did indeed start to slow down, the Bugbear itself also started lagging as the exhaustion started to sink in, allowing the bug to deliver more and more stings!
Thud! Thud!
"Hah, hah…"
