Li Mei's phone rang, interrupting the pleasant conversation at the café. Her face tensed momentarily as she glanced at the caller ID, recognizing the number that appeared on the screen. She excused herself from the table, taking a few steps away to answer the call privately.

She went to her room and started packing her bags she took all her necessary items. She was so tensed while she was packing . She started taking long breaths which helped her in calming herself a Lil bit .
After 30 mins, With her bag packed and the keys to her room handed over to the hostel warden, Li Mei shouldered her luggage and walked out of the hostel. The cab she had called earlier was waiting for her, and she climbed in, giving the driver the address of the subway station.
