Cecilia's POV
I gripped the doorknob tightly, shaking it incessantly, holding my breath as I spoke to Karl, each word deliberate, "I want to get out. Let me out!"
Karl remained unfazed, his hand covering mine on the doorknob, preventing me from turning it. He halted my attempts.
"Don't shake it like that; you might cause a problem. We both won't be able to get out."
He smirked, using a joking tone, even though I felt like I was about to explode with anger. He remained calm, as if he were merely playing around.
I pushed his hand away, feeling too close to him, and I shoved him, shouting, "You lunatic, open the door!"
There was a significant height difference between us, and Karl effortlessly followed the motion of my hand, his hand coming to rest on my waist, playfully exploring my side.
I was pressed against Karl's chest, my head held in place by his other hand. I struggled for a moment, unable to move, and then I opened my mouth and sank my teeth into his collarbone.
