Chapter 6 - First Visit to Wizarding World

Harry POV

Today was the best day of my life. I learned about my parents, and I learned about the world I belong to. I met with my mother's old friend. From today onwards, the Dursleys won't even bother me. As I was thinking about all the nice things, I drifted to sleep in now my bed. It was comfortable, and I never slept on something so comfortable.

Next Day

When I woke up, I saw a Ceiling fan up on me, which was new as I always found myself looking at a Celieng, which looked like stairs constructed upside down. Upon looking at my surroundings, I found out that I was in Dudley's old room, as it became my temporary room till they gave me a new room. It seemed that the last day was not a dream after all. I heard a sudden pop sound toward my right side. As I looked toward it, I saw it was Uncle Edward.

"Good morning Harry. Hope you slept well."

"Good morning Uncle Edward. I slept well, thanks for asking."

"Right, I will check up on those devils all right. Freshen up."

He said as he was walking out of the room. As he was walking, he turned to me and threw something like a coin toward me.

"Keep it with you; if you are ever in danger, it will notify me and Dumbledore of it. It is one of my creations; I did my newts in ancient runes and alchemy you see."

"Thank you, uncle. I will keep it with me."

I once more looked at the coin given to me and kept it and saw that I could wear it like a necklace with a thread on it. As I was looking at it, I was startled as I heard three different screams, presumably from my uncle, aunt, and cousin. Not minding any of it, I freshened up and went downstairs. It seems Uncle has already left. The three were looking at me with a face full of horror. They seemed to revert to normal, except for Dudley, who may have to go to a hospital to surgically remove it.

I went ahead and prepared toast and some milk for breakfast; after having my breakfast, I went to my room and read the books my uncle gave me.

Time Skip three years.

The past three years have been very exciting; I have learned pure blood etiquette, it was very complicated, but I had Uncle Edward to practice it with; he said I have to learn it; otherwise, I would make a fool of myself in the pure blood society. I also learned the laws of the wizarding society. I was quite surprised to find that they labeled mermaids, vampires, werewolves, and other races as creatures. It seemed quite prejudicial to me. Many other laws suppress muggle-borns and other sentient beings.

I also learned there was something known as an heir ring which is used to identify myself as the heir of the house potter. That is also the reason why I am going to the wizarding society for the first time in my life; Uncle Edward promised to take me to the Grignotts wizarding bank so that I can take my heir ring and announce that I am back to the wizarding society. He also said I would be able to buy some books for Hogwarts to have a headstart from others since I have already read those books completely in the last three years.

(A/N Don't ask me why it took three years, people go to law school for three years before getting their bachelor's, just reading the book won't be enough, he has to understand the loopholes to have an advantage and etiquette classes are tiring, to say the least, especially six y/o.)

(A/N Harry will be strong in the future but not so much that he can beat 100 dumbledores in his prime, strong by the standards of the wizarding community, ahead of his peers, that is what I describe him as.)

"Harry shall we go" I heard a popping sound followed by Uncle Edward's voice.

I nodded my head and held his hands tightly. Quite used to apparating already, I did not feel that terrible.

We were in front of a large majestic white building; we walked into the building and passed the first set of doors. As we passed through that, I could see the second set of doors, and on those doors was written a warning for those that tried to rob them.

Enter, stranger, but take heed.

Of what awaits the sin of greed,

For those who take but do not earn,

Must pay most dearly in their turn,

So if you seek beneath our floors

A treasure that was never yours,

Thief, you have been warned, beware

Of finding more than treasure there.

We walked through till we passed the third set of doors and were at the end of the corridor. Some goblins were sitting on a large stool that was processing the demands of the wizards. Uncle Edward went straight to the goblin sitting in the middle at a higher pedestal than other goblins, and he seemed to be the head teller.

"Harry Potter would like to claim the heir ring."

The head teller was surprised, to say the least.

"Proof that he is harry potter. Since their ring has yet not been claimed, can you give any other proof?"

"We have his trust vault key. Will it be sufficed"

"It will be sufficient to let him try the ring. If he is not harry potter losing his finger might be the least of his problems."

"I have no problem trying, sir," I spoke as if I did not like how he suspected my identity, but I did not forget to add respect. Goblins are very nifty creatures, and I have to be careful around them.

"I will call upon a capable goblin to verify you, and if you are genuine, he will be your vault manager; he will take you to his private chambers and deal with you guys." He called up the nearby goblin guard and hushed in his ears silently. The goblin guard looked at me as soon as the head teller finished telling me everything. He looked at me with an astonished face. He ran as fast as he could and disappeared.

After a few moments, the same guard came with a looking goblin. The old-looking goblin came near me and said

"I am Griphook, and I will be your manager if you are who you say you are, sir.
