The Phoenix Clan are not actually Phoenixes.
Or rather, like the Dragon Clan, the Phoenix Clan is enormous, including various phoenixes and fenghuangs, all of which are called Phoenixes.
Of course, such Phoenixes are only the lowest tier.
They are comparable to the lowest tier of the Dragon Clan.
Within the Dragon Clan, there are two extremely powerful groups, one is the True Dragons and the other is the Holy Dragons—both are Divine Beasts. In other words, all have Divine-level talents.
They look down upon all rivals and stand atop the All Clans.
However, due to changes in the world, the purest bloodlines of both True Dragons and Holy Dragons have been severed.
The remaining dragons, although many are descendants of True Dragons and Holy Dragons, have impure bloodlines, and their talents have greatly diminished.
